Pete,
I noticed you failed to ammend your tips in a public display for last week and that so far I've seen only 2 correct tips out of 55 for you this season. Why don't we just round off your total to 55/55 so you feel better??
My tips:
LaTrobe to strong for Monash by 19 points
The Wicks by 25 points over Wests
Hawks by 31 over the House (where are you Chimp, I miss your comments)
The Hoes by 28 points over Kew
OW by 38 points over Swinney
Good luck all
We did a ring around survey & all clubs agree that we thought you were describing your own personal looks?? ..... "gutter-scum rat-dog." You have proved countless times that the players who have their backs to you are the victims! If your club is still happy for you to do what you did ... says it all about the Wickers!
Stop it! I laughed so much I fell off my chair. AS IF! Survey? Who would talk to you lot? Now get back to the village before they realise their idiot is missing.

Westbourne in a fine tussle with Swinny, 3pts
OW by 38 points over Swinney
And what about the wind Tiger? If swinny managed 4-4 to 1 point after being down by 68 at 1/4 time, was it blowing a gail?Interesting game, and Arctic Park lived up to its thermal reputation.![]()
4/5 for me. Pete an improvement on his 2 from last week, got 3, unless of course he managed to change them this morning when he woke up and saw enlightenment.Pete,

See Hawks got done by the House and that Vegemite might not be a very honest bloke, Tigerarmy was on the money, 3 goals to Eddo! And thats 2 in a row for the Hawks, are the wheels falling off?

Anyone watch the reserves games or got any comments on who will round out the top 4 of the dew kickers?
Kew seem to have miraculously sewn up top spot, with OW in second but still 3 teams fighting for 3rd and 4th spot.
OW have got depth with more than a few of their 2s team being starters in the ones last year - and Kew are up to their old tricks again.
From what I have seen and heard, Hawthorn have been an absolute rabble in 2 of their 4 losses - but can't have been too bad in the rest of their season so far considering their ladder position. WB have dominated for one quarter each week, and if they do enough damage on the scoreboard in that quarter they seem to be able to hang on to win. The Pigs play their ground well, but have a couple of loose cannons that can bring them down from the inside.
Monash's revolutionary new policy of playing their better 22 in the late game is taking its toll on the ressies - and I can't see them troubling many in the run home.
8 point game this week for WB v Hawthorn - my tip is they will take 3rd and 4th come end of round 18, Pigs an unlucky 5th.

Also interesting to note that sides 1 and 2 both have Club 18 sides which I know at our club means that reserves have to train otherwise they play Clubbies. Generally most sides at this time of year have limited reserves players on track on Tues and Thurs nights. I am sure that most teams would be making phone calls on thurs nights to get players to help out or fill in. Obviously having Clubbies will make the reserve players fitter as they are training more often and those clubs will always have 22 to choose from.
Having viewed ressies over past few years this years standard is pretty poor compared to other years. Most sides we have played have been competitive in the first half then dropped away considerably in the second half.

Monash had a huge loss of personnel over the summer which caused the stocks to run low. From what I'm told they lost from their 2nds side their captain coach, vice captain and B & F winner as well. D4 next year for the gryph's I think....
May as well give Kew the Premiership for the ressies now.![]()
from what a few of the guys from Kew have said they have alot of good honest fringe players. So whats with Kew? Plenty of depth but little class (or cohesion) in the senior squad?

So who are the second worst team Johnny? Would you say OW are the best team or Kew are the worst team, how do rate the teams? Its not over yet! The Gryphs aren't the second wort side in the comp.
Been a string of bad luck with 4 losses this year after leading during the last quarter. This is the most even year Ive seen in D3 for many a year. And also the weakest ressies comp. Kews ressies of 2006 would beat this years side by 15 goals.
OW are clearly the best side and will win both seniors and reserves flag, no doubt. I don't see much difference between teams 4-9. In fact Hawthorn, currently second on the ladder probably wouldn't have finished in the top 4 last year. Would everyone agree this is a much weaker comp than last year? Why is that? Injuries? So who are the second worst team Johnny? Would you say OW are the best team or Kew are the worst team, how do rate the teams?
Yeah injuries I'd say, never happened before, or perhaps its cos everyone's a year older and slower? Or perhaps all the good footballers realised they were wasting their weekends and are now enjoying their saturdays gardening??OW are clearly the best side and will win both seniors and reserves flag, no doubt.
