I believe the rule for next season's 19 yo has changed making overagers only eligible to play if they have not exceeded 16 tac cup games previously

How sure are you on this? The TAC club I have some links with are planning on bringing some 19 yr olds back who have played more than 16 games.

I believe its a 14 game threshold

I believe it simply depends on if there's sufficient AFL club interest in 2017 for the player to be deemed worth retaining in TAC in 2018, rather than playing VFL/local against men.

I doubt there's a game limit applied.

Developing ruckmen/talls are the clearest examples, followed by players who were borderline draftee/rookies who suffered with injuries and couldn't perform to their optimum in their top year.

It was a 5 goal wind to that end in the last. Oakleigh won the game by conceding 3.6 to their 3.1 in the third - great defensive effort. Leading by 5 points at 3/4, once Oakleigh kicked the first couple, Eastern put the "cue in the rack" IMO.

Just on the teams for the all star game , is interest from recruiters r.e nominations similar to invites to national combine used in selecting sides .
That is the recruiters want to see the best against the best.
Just out of interest and if you have the information handy how many who played in the all star game got drafted

I've had my eyes on Jack Henderson for awhile and I really liked his game today, good speed and decision making.

Gryan Miers had a shocker and he is quickly falling off my radar.

The young Haileybury boys McHale and Riordan had very good games both should get drafted next year

I think Miers is elusive and can get away from his opponent but I think he is over rated
