was the only highlight of the game. he is a real exitment machine and im loving havin a playa like that that will do somethink spectacular. will be a superstar. every time he got the ball towards the begining u could feel the crowd lift a bit. today we were bloody too slow. we need dale to become midfield regualr next season.

A shining light in an otherwise dismal day.

His other disallowed mark that he took over the goal line was a ripper as well.:thumbsu:

he is a great judge of when to take those marks, seen him do it countless times this year. great to see it.

I think we can say his marking ability is better than your spelling ability

the best thing is, is that he hasnt lost his trade mark courage from when he slammed into the turf and did his collar bone! gun player!

Yeah i think he is that kinda of personality, doesn't really let things like that deter him. He is absolutely fully confident and comfortable in his own abilities, which is great for a kid his age and i think it will only increase as he gains more experience.

Leave him alone, he is a Collingwood supporter after all!

Too bad alot of the Pies supporters decided to get home earlier before a car park jam, therefore, they missed it!

I couldn't believe that... fans were leaving in the 3rd quarter! I know I sure didn't pay $50 to watch 2 and half quarters of a finals match. As frustrating as the game was to watch, I stuck around and was rewarded with the fantastic Dale mark.

Unfortunately you have to be **** to get players like Cooney, Griffen and in your case Thomas, so it's a constant reminder that you were ****ing terrible once, but my god you have a player on your hands.

Commiserations on yesterday too.

Thanks man - You've been a lot more sporting than some of your fellow supporters.

Just quietly, I had my concerns about the elation of the team and the fans yesterday - Much of the reaction made it seems as though you'd won your Grand Final on Sunday.

Hey sporty spice you guys just dont give in and thats why a lot of non dogs supporters want you to do well in the finals, to good for the pies so we have to lick our wounds and try again but you guys have a real good chance to knock the stuffing out of the eagles, all the best for the finals.

GO DOGGIES!!

I definitely know who I'm supporting this final's series now. Still frustrated with our loss, but we were outdone by a very good team on Sunday and I look forward to seeing them succeed in the next few weeks.
Good luck to the Western Bulldogs!

I know personally, Saturdays win was two fold. First the win, our first in finals since 1998, was gold. It's a long time between finals wins (and appearances) for us, so as a supporter, it was amazing. Especially (no offence intended, we all know who you are, Zeke reminds us constantly) against you blokes, a team we'd never beaten in a final, and a side everyone loves to beat. 85,000 at the G yesterday... hard not to get caught up!

Secondly, it nearly ensures that a club champion, icon and veteran not to mention a bloke I and every Bulldog supporter love to bits in Rohan Smith plays 300 games. Whitten, Grant, Hawkins, Smith, West. Smith grew up like me, watching the Bulldogs, and lived my dream and that of every bastard who barracks for their team.

Anyway, the nicities are over, i'm going back to hating you blokes. Feral, toothless, unemployed *insert cliched stereotype here* mongrals that you all are ;)

By the way, i've wanted to do this for a long time. Sorry about Jon Ballantyne.
