He takes 27% of kick outs. Of which he was the closest player 52% of the time. We gained more territory on 57% of his kick outs. But he turned it over 9% more than others. Which means that there is a 0.5% improvement when he takes the kick out. However running an extra 2% in order to get back for the kickout will mean that he'll need 2% more time on the bench, which will result in a 0.7% increase in the loads of our other defenders, which amounts to us copping 0.4% more goals a game offset against the 0.5% more goals from his kickoutsSounds like we need someone to do the research on this and give us a definitive anser.
Sounds like a job for sr36 He loves stats and s..t like that.
So as you can see, it's a no brainer. Don't know why we don't do the obvious. It might win us the flag - unless Josh uses it better. I'll leave those calculations to you
