Have to say... I think he's in trouble. MRP have already shown that if you accidentally hit someone to the head, intent matters not.

Only thing that might save him is the impact.

No impact to the head from what I can see in the video footage. Danger swung his arm in that direction but no connection.

De Boer took a dive after a tickle in the mid section.

Umpires turn a blind eye to tagger interference off-the-ball and sadly we haven't had a player capable of inflicting some pain on these players since the days of Max and Moons.

There was nothing in the Danger action. Overacting by de Boer. I can't see there being any medical evidence that would cause Danger any issues. A fine is what I reckon.

This sort of shit will continue until the umpires stop the off-the-ball interference that players like Greenwood, Harmes and de Boer use as their go-to game.

I thought the umpires were meant to step in & stop the off the ball stuff?

I remember last year there was a ball-up at our end of the ground and before the umpire had the chance to throw the ball up, Ablett got pushed to the ground - so the umpire gave a free kick as they had been advised to do so. The media then cracked the shits & said it was a soft free kick, the umpire should have let it go etc.

Can't have things both ways - if a player is being held with the ball, being interferred with or pushed out of the contest before the ball even arrives then surely that is a free kick. It may be soft, but surely it's better than seeing ball winners (Danger, Dusty, or whoever), lashing out & doing stupid shit.

The elbow from Danger was wrong, but things shouldn't get to that stage if the umpires are doing their jobs

2 weeks and deserved for being an undisciplined flog.

We won't be seeing any no look handballs for the next couple.

Fine for the first hit - the second one was a fresh-airy. The way Dermott was carrying on I thought Dangerfield had brought a knife onto the ground and segmented De Boer into multiple pieces.

Honestly, just saw the footage for the first time (watched the game but didn't see half-time where they replayed the "incident") and my reaction was just "That's it?" Especially after hearing Brereton basically stating it would be a definite, deserved suspension. What a biased clown.

Dermie cannot help himself where Geelong are concerned. Top goose.

He will get two weeks.

Prepare for life without him. Maybe Scott will realise he's not a forward when we keep struggling to win the ball out of the middle.
