Perhaps I'm a little sympathetic to the great man, but come on guys... How on earth is he "the lowest of the low"?

He's been the ultimate professional about this inevitability from day dot. Admirable finals performance this season especially.
Nah he's let the club down. You're either with us or against us.

From our entire list I can give you maybe 3 people who would even dare - Tex, Lever and M crouch. The rest are goody two shoes who would rather smile, pat him on the back and let him run around untouched.
Play Nathan VB for one game next year, he'd get the job done if given specific instructions.

Not trolling but is the last name a joke? Definitely a good player but not recognised with that type of attitude at all.

I can now understand why some people are saying to let him go. If he wants to go to Geelong, and we match their offer, isn't it realistic that Geelong would offer us say, Michael Luxford and Zac Bates, and then take the stance that it's those two or nothing. Leaving us completely screwed ??

All the best to him (as long as its not at the expense of the AFC). Loved the way he played, could do shit on field that no other player in the league could do. Will be missed, but onwards and upwards for us and i can't wait to boo the shit out of him!

If we've learnt nothing else from this Dangerfield soap opera we should hence forth get our heads around the fact that once a top end player hasn't signed on by mid season and runs the line they will make their mind up at the end of the season can we please just put them in the "GONE" column!!!
I think they knew.

Thanks for all your efforts over the last 8 years. It has been a real thrill to watch you but, you are now the opposition Patrick. I will follow your career with interest but as soon as you step on OUR home ground as an opponent you will feel the full wrath of the Crows supporter as a mass. We are bigger than Patrick Dangerfield and will be better off for not having team first and always people in our great club.
The AFL will schedule our Geelong games away like they have with Tippett.

Couldn't wait to get over here could ya! Remember when the little Bald guy headed out of Geelong?? and to think I actually felt sorry for the GFC that day....:eek::eek:

It better be the twist where he injures himself walking down the street, never to play again, right after we get two picks in the top ten and a player signed off in a trade.
I actually think its very weird hes said hes going home to ' victoria '. Victoria has 9 teams. Does this mean he is just going to sit back and see what offers flood in? Geelongs piss poor effort in offering a top 5 player in the afl and triple aa, most probably club champion and brownlow medallist a low ball offer should open it up for pies, hawks, tigers, blues and bombers to throw mega $$$ at him. Thats of course if hes willing to move to melbourne instead of geelong. Id love to see him in a carlton jumper personally.

That was the club - not Danger. He is going to Geelong.

I reckon the deal is logged in and will be ticked off as soon as it possibly can in the trade period.
