Yeah I agree, once again we're embracing players that want out.
I've instantly lost some respect for JJ after seeing this.

Is there a precedence for such a quality player being a restricted free agent ?? Why couldn't we go to the trade table demanding Joel Selwood or bust ?? Fair's fair ???
Crows and Geelong would have been working on it for months. That was the club - not Danger. He is going to Geelong.
I reckon the deal is logged in and will be ticked off as soon as it possibly can in the trade period.
And as I say, I was fine up till that point. He hadn't made light of it, but then he did, which was wrong IMOIt's just a job for him. For some of us, it's a huge part of life.
Approaching players outside the "allowed window" is outside the spirit of Footy but it hasn't stopped Geelong.Frank Costa apparently thinks AFC matching the offer is outside the spirit of the RFA agreement

And Tippett left Adelaide FOR a flag
It's the way of it
Danger alone is not the difference between winning a flag and not
No, it doesn't. It certainly damages the chances of winning one in the near future though. Unless we manage to pull a rabbit out the hat and end up with say Redden and Bennell, and get B Crouch fit and firing, this sets us back massively.
**** Frank Costa. Stupid arrogant campaigner.Frank Costa apparently thinks AFC matching the offer is outside the spirit of the RFA agreement

The other RFA's that left were either offered godfather deals their club could not match (Buddy) or their compensation pick was too good to refuse (Pick 3 for Frawley) or their club chose not to match and instead spend the money on another free agent (Betts).
We could ask for Selwood, but Geelong would just laugh at us.
Realistically we'd be aiming to get more than what we'd get via compensation, but not as much as we'd get for a contracted player.
It actually feels like abig FU to the supporterbasr. Class act is Josh " footsteps "Jenkins.Really uncomfortable with this. "Patty you're so brave..."
Seriously?![]()
Why would you though? (serious question) Our clubs aren't exactly the best of friends.
I was fine with how he acted right up till he did that joke with Rowe about announcing he had signed... a contract for a boat. Hahahahahahahaahhaahahahahahahah. Yeah. F*ck off.
This! Very strange individual.I honestly don't understand how someone could post all the "Team Crows" stuff Danger has on social media this year, while at the same time be negotiating to walk out the door.
It honestly strikes me as slightly sociopathic behaviour. If that was me in that situation I'd be feeling way to guilty to joke about contracts with teammates, etc. like he has this year. That behaviour was probably the major thing that had me convinced he was staying.

Im sorry.Course not. Every other team in history has won a flag without danger.
But bloody hell it makes it an easier pill to swallow when you can throw on a DVD of danger lacing out to tex on the last Saturday in September and the boys on the podium.
Commiserations guys was hoping he would stay at Adelaide.
Oh and best to ignore that tony wilson richmond troll just got himself banned over on the North board minutes ago.
No but they do have pick 8 next years first rounder and highly rated junior mids like Motlop. And actually the mechanism was exactly the same then. It was and is either trade or PSD, people need to realise there is a huge difference between free agent and restricted free agent.Geelong don't have pick 3, pick 20 and a highly rated junior key forward to give up like Carlton did. Carlton likely weren't planning on getting Judd for nothing either, as the mechanism to do so didn't exist.
