nope, but worst case alternatives are:
Nothing
pick 14
My concern is Geelong will be difficult to deal with which at times they have been.
If Danger was to be redrafted he would of went top 3, maybe number even number 1, while I would rather a top 5 pick, 9 isnt the worst out there and its better than 14. Then we could have a crack at Francis if he was still available.
I think you'd find that Geelong are very reasonable to deal with.

If you wake up and don't want to smile
If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You'll see things in a different way
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop it'll soon be here
It'll be better than before
Dangerfield's gone, Dangerfield's gone
All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don't believe that it's true
I never meant any harm to you
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be, better than before
Dangerfield's gone, Dangerfield's gone
Don't you look back
Don't you look back :D

To be honest I'm not sure why you quoted me.

I've been saying from day dot that you should match and force Geelong into trading for Danger. However you are never going to get his true value.
If you can get Geelong's pick 9 plus their second rounder either this year or next you will have done well.
These restricted FA trades are a bit tricky unless you got the wooden spoon or close to it.
Give up too easily and you'll get bugger all. Go too hard and you could end up even worse.
The trick is to end up somewhere in the middle and cut your losses.
Don't disagree with the analysis, but you can't say "these restricted fa trades are a bit tricky", as this is the first one.

Is it?

We will be the first club to officially match yes.

I still think other Victorian clubs will take a punt on him should a trade not eventuate. It's unlikely but it could happen. I expect a trade to involve 2 picks and a player of reasonable quality/potential. Cockatoo would be a great get but wouldn't happen, I see it being 2015 first rounder, 2016 2nd and Murdoch.

So it's only the first where matching the offer makes sense. That's the second part of the 'tricky bit' I was talking about.

Yes, but I was referring to Adelaide having pick #9 and nexr year's first rounder plus a player like Gregson. Would you sacrifice pick #9, another first rounder in 2016 and Cory Gregson for two additional Dangerfield years and pick #14? I'd say no, but I can't speak on your behalf so I'll let you answer.
No I wouldn't. Don't really want him to stay at all, as he has made his choice. But if it came down to Pick 9 and Murdoch or for Danger 2 years and a compo pick around the same I would take the second.

Honestly I have liked the suggestion of involving Brisbane the most. Getting Redden would make me happy.

What has RFA got to do with it?

It's just a out of contract player trade, same as happen every year. Except there can be no threats of the draft, because there's no way he'd get to Geelong through the draft.

It would only be less than two firsts if Adelaide cave, and there's no reason why they would.

How likely is Redden to want to leave Brisbane for Adelaide? If the writing is on the wall for Redden in Brisbane's eyes, perhaps there's a reason why they are interested in Jansen. Is Adelaide interested in both Redden and Aish. In Adelaide supporter's opinion, what percentage of Dangerfield's worth would Redden and Aish equate to? I think that if a trade happens, one or more clubs will form the basis of any such trade.

Geelong has a player that Brisbane want, Brisbane has one or potentially multiple players that Adelaide want and Adelaide obviously has to be satisfied enough with a trade to facilitate a clean passage for Danger to get to Geelong. It has the potential to work for all parties.

This has to be outside RFA match, yes?

From memory redden has indicated he wants to leave Brisbane despite being contracted. Not 100% on his worth but as a contracted mid I would say a low first rounder- early second (haven't really kept an eye on his form). So would definitely help bridge the difference

So hypothetically if one proposed the following:

Geelong sends its first round draft pick #9 + its second round draft pick this year #28* and its second round draft pick next year, its third round draft pick #46* plus Jarrad Jansen to Brisbane. Brisbane sends Aish and Redden, its second round draft pick #20* plus its fourth round draft pick #56 to Adelaide as well as on-trading pick #46 from Geelong. Adelaide sends Dangerfield, its second round draft pick #33*, its third round draft pick #51* and on-trades Brisbane's fourth rounder to Geelong.

*denotes picks before adjusted for Free Agency compensation

In summary:

Brisbane

IN: Pick #9, pick #28, 2016 second round draft pick (Geelong) and Jarrad Jansen.

OUT: Aish, Redden, pick #20, pick #56

Adelaide

IN: Aish, Redden, pick #20 and pick #46

OUT: Dangerfield, pick #33, pick #51

Geelong

IN: Dangerfield, pick #33, pick #51, pick #56

OUT: Pick #9, pick #28, pick #46, 2016 second round draft pick and Jarrad Jansen.

How would that deal sit?

Not bad at all.

No idea. Send it to the clubs, they make the decisions not us.
