There are clearly people doing worse things on social media. Ask just about any indigenous footballer. Bec Judd may be odious, but she clearly does not encapsulate everything that's wrong about social media.

you insist on equating most opinion issues with the anonymity of social media and pretty much excuse what is written/said by those under their own name - with the argument that it's worse on social media -with the "i may disagree with him/her, but" bizo.

I think calling it "everything" that's wrong and toxic about social media downplays some of the direct threats made via those platforms.

I'm not about to back down from challenging broad, all-encompassing statements that by very definition are not true.

We need more consideration of the nuance, not less.
