Who knows how we go. Thilthorpe and Rachele could both become legit superstar players, and Rankine is well over due an All Australian season.

A mate of mine dislocated his left knee 8 times before he was 21, he waited nearly 2 years for surgery.

It's probably best to do it now, when there's still a month and a half until the season, than to wait, he's back in Round 2 and then dislocates it again in the lead up to finals.

With what we've know, I dont think it was ever a scenario where a non surgical route was available.

If there was a bone chip, it would require surgery. He avoided that, however he has a history of this injury. The other thing that would prompt surgery is.... having a history of dislocating the kneecap.
