Quite frankly i couldnt give a flying ******** if Daniel Kerr wishes to take whatever the hell he takes. If he is going to break the law, then he will be dealt with by the court and really thats that. As long as he doesnt do it during the season I believe the club should just turn there heads and let him deal with it. Hes a big boy, he doesnt need any special treatment from anyone. As long as he is playing good football it really shouldnt matter what he is doing from the clubs perspective, and thats IF he actually did do anything.....which is pretty unlikely

I can guarantee you the WCE will be in court giving statements about how good his character is, why he is a model citizen, how he helps the poor, etc. Special treatment? If he's doing anything remotely 'dodgy', he should be dealt with like any other human - and not with the special treatment many have received in the past. There are many things one can do with vallium...

daniel, daniel, daniel...what were u thinking?? (if true)

docters have to notify the australian medical association whenever they write scripts for drugs like valium! hence when u collect the drug that gets checked.

the club should try and say he is depressed and no doctor would presribe him anything for it because of his position as an afl footballer.

he will only get a fine. if it were illegal drugs then yes we would have a problem.

Was just on Seven News here in WA, and carries a maximum penalty of three years in jail... although it would never come to this

Certainly sounds like he is in trouble.. and thats coming from the west!

Valium is commonly used to treat those suffering from depression.

You really have to wonder about the boy's state of mind when he wanders into a 24 hour chemist with a fake prescription for this type of drug.

Guys bit of advice, its ok to talk about the current allegations but no need to bring up "rumours" about what the players so called do.

Used to go to the same school as Gardiner, so I know what these players get up, and I am friends with the youngest Embley, so i think these arent rumours at all mate... plenty of others are in the same boat as these players too!!

Man I know that the players aren't angels, There are players in both WA sides who engage in the odd illegal activity, Yet why name them on a message board? Does it make you sound cool that you have smoked with these guys

I think you'll find its an anti-anxiety drug for the quick relief of panic attacks & moderate to severe anxiety states . Also ued for some muscular conditions.

I've had the need to use on the odd occasion for really bad acid trips.

There are many things one can do with knife, or a match. What's your point?

Everyone seems to say that.

FWIW I reckon he'll stay at the Wet Toast.

And we'll welcome him with open arms, give him a robust clip over the ear and tell him to pull his head in. Not worth getting rid of the boy for. If he does it again? Then we'll have to re-assess.

This is a serious incident and I don't think we should be making light of it. Obviously it was a cry for help and the Eagles should do everything to support him, which includes professional help. Perhaps Gardiner could introduce him to John Kizon...

As Pav_I_G said, this is a very serious incident with a drug that shouldnt be played with. It deserves more than a slap on the wrist. Think outside the WCE's and look to the bigger picture....
