He has a break even of around 70 this week and even if he makes 100 you will only get about 13 tho so i think he has peaked. yet now with daz out if you dont care about his price he could still do alright for you with points

He should be able to average 80 for the season which will see him hit around the 400k mark by round 10-11. That will be the time to cash out, or hope he can string a couple of 100+ games together to artificially inflate his price to 450k+

I have Rich and Otten aswell so one of them will definitely be going soon as a downgrade so I can upgrade Petrenko to Hodge.

This is what i was thinking, even if he scores well the increases are gonna start getting to 10k a week. At close to 340k now it may take 6 weeks of good scores to get to another 50-60k increse which i can get on 2nd game rookie in one week.

True but is it worth wasting an extra trade as you are going to use 2 downgrades not one? IMO no, but i guess it depends what position you are in, how many trades you have, and how many rookies you already have that need upgrading. Rich should get you about 40k over the next 3 weeks

I'm guessing that Rich would be the best to downgrade as he can't make as much cash now as what Otten can. Rich however scores more than Otten though.

Hey Judd, If you want to pull the trigger on Hodge next week then it will have to be Rich as he wont increase much at all over the next 2 weeks thanks to his 50 last week. Yes, otten will make you more money from this point onward

Hmmm, is a tough one as there is no rookie mids that really stand out at the moment. How much of a hurry are you in to make $$$? As by next week we might know a little more about Anthony and with Boomer going down he may get back in sooner rather than later. I currently have Beams and Anthony on my bench and im glad thay beams at least has a few weeks left in him before he peaks as its pretty slim pickings atm. As for Anthony im quite content on keeping him there as I dont really need the cash as yet and I think he will be great once he gets in. Will be a nice upgrade when he peaks just before finals time

Other options to consider would be sidebottom as he must be close to getting a crack at it, also a few brisbane folk around here have been talking up young Sam Sheldon as a promising kid who will most likely get an opportunity shortly

Out of Otten and Rich you'd expect Rich to average more over the year. You can't really make comparisons on last weeks game, Rich playing away to the best (2nd) team and Crows Vs. the worst.

Rich will probably be the last rookie I trade out of my team as he should be able to score well and hold his value, other rookies are either inconsistent or likely to be rested and the season goes on.

I think its worth the risk. Hodge is a must this week or next. after that... bye bye. Only my opinion of course

Fair enough. I had Hodge from the start so his price is irrelevant to me.

Just reckon you need to get something from the rookie you pick up otherwise your team is over-exposed to injuries at the end.

It's similarly placed to mine right now. I have Hodge you have Fisher. You'd love Hodge I'd love Fisher!

I am in the same boat with 4 rookies in defence and a cash shortage which is why I am looking at a cheaper defender for sale like Mackie just to give me 90-100 pt average per week coverage in place of Petrenko.

I like Hartlett as a rookie. He's $60K dearer than some $94K nobody but is a number 4 draft pick who looks the goods.

It's a hard choice - at least you don't have to make a final D until next week. It all might be a lot clearer then + you'd have 1 more price rise out of Otten & Rich.

I have 14 trades left due to my horror injury run. Every week I have copped injuries, its been ridiculous.

I only have $57,900 in the bank too and need that if I go Hille > H-Mac this week. Spent most of my cash going Skipworth > Riewoldt last week.
