Granted he was up against an inexperienced opponent, I thought the big fella was exceptional last night on what was otherwise an underwhelming night for the team. Loved his around the ground work and tackling in particular. Hope he uses that performance as a springboard for a career best year and doesn't taper off or get injured. Massive test next week up against Grundy.

Started strong. Lucky goal via tackle. Decent game, love to see him continue that form but needs to take a few more marks around the ground and not get outmarked too often. My chief issue with DC's marking is he either marks it or someone else does - rarely brings it to the ground.

Shoutout to DC, he’s had a really good start to the year and was important again today. Has massively improved his tap work this year In comparison to last year, miles ahead of Cox in terms of output so far this year.
The difference between the games in which he is important and the games in which he is irrelevant is so noticeable though

the difference between mason and darcy is darcy can have a long series of average games. Mason tends to have a long series of crap games.
Darcy Cameron has been one of our best so far this year.

well in a nice piece of ying and yang, mason has been one of our worst. That last ruck contest when he spat the dummy and almost deliberately gave away a free kick was the final straw for me. I dont care that he's frustrated.

Darcy moore has been like he has forgotten how to play or he doesnt want to be there, or the coach told him to be more defensive so he got his back up and decided never to mark the ball. He is worse than a shadow of himself.

Cameron was very good in the last quarter. He provided the big man presence that moore and cox couldnt give.

Mason has been putrid, this is close to if not his worst run of games in his career. 33 years old he could just be cooked or he could randomly be a week away from clunking everything.
Cameron was bad vs Lions but been in our best handful in the other 4 games with possibly two best ons for us
Darcy is a bit of a mess, he is spoiling balls he use to mark. His spoils are also not really killing the ball like you'd want in deep defense

Darcy was really good in the first quarter and a half when we were under the pump. Darcy and Jordy kept us in it before we exploded.

And WHE.

May have been the 3rd quarter I think but Darcy missed a spoil attempt at one point in our backline. He was absolutely fuming at himself. I don’t think there’s any doubt the players care about this season, as has been questioned by some, if that’s an indication. Will have to watch the replay as I think I underrated Darcy’s game today for some reason. Love his combo with Coxy, sets us apart from the other teams I reckon.

Ahead of round six, Champion Data showed that Collingwood's Darcy Cameron has the best centre-bounce hitout rate in the competition (58 per cent)

He's become far better than he has any right to be. If that makes sense. A spare parts tall traded for pick 56 after only one game for the Swans is now a sneaky top 5 AFL ruck.

Outrageously good business, and he's just kept improving every year he's been on our list. Long may it continue

Bet this bloke will never bend the club over a barrel, threaten to leave (when he has no real plans to leave anyway) and ask for 7 year deal on mega coin.

You’re right!
We gave him his chance, he’s a Premiership player who loves the Club.

Bet you’re wrong.

So you’re saying he WILL now bend us over a barrel for a seven year contract, threatening to walk out on the club?
