Darcy moore hamstring :(

I wish I could be so Glass half full. I have serious queries as to whether we will ever see Sharenberg play AFL football. It's a legitimate problem if our top picks keep getting injured. Can't really gloss over it. If we had for example none of our first picks over a 3 year period come on, it would set us back years. These picks are the cream. These picks are the ones you can't afford to waste. Unless you want to be Melbourne for years prior to Roos.

Then we should just get Roos and not worry about injury ever again.....ohhh...hang on...Petracca did his knee at the Dees too...ooops

What would he be working with? He be off his feet for sometime with the Possible Hammy Tare

He will probably complete a PHD in hammy prevention science.

Bad luck to the kid. It led to me looking for a story on the injury and during my search i saw a ladder that has us in 3rd position after round 4.

Hap hap happy again.

Yeah lets just chuck all our picks on established players like Danger, Shiel Treloar, this is painful...

Does it have to be a virgin? If so, I fear for the Seed:(

we dont have time to find a virgin and I dont trust the honesty of anyone in the forum..... There's a million ways to come up with a solution but I think we should just take the obvious route and burn Buckley at the stake... or is that steak? We could probably incorporate it into a membership drive / sausage sizzle...

A hammy doesn't put you in a wheel chair:) He can work on his upper body strength, his hand skills, his core, cardio. He can spend a lot of time with the fitness staff learning how to manage his body, all about diet, and rime with the coaches learning all the stuff I was never good enough to know.

He won't be sitting on his arse playing world of tanks- moores the pity, as my clan could do with someone with good twitch:)

Got Ya - I reckon Moore would not be down on this Long and as You say he be working Hard on what he can.

Though as I said hopefully it’s not too bad and he can be back by Mid-Year

Luckily for the usual suspects this happened, otherwise it was looking like a pretty lean weekend for them.
Don't know why you're blaming Devoren though, clearly Buckley's fault. If he had've put him in the seniors like you all said he should've this probably wouldn't have happened .

I think it's Hine's fault. If we didn't recruit Moore we'd have 1 less on our injury list!

Wait... no... It's Peter Moore's fault! Why did he ever think having sex was a good idea?!

Moore had injuries pre-draft, no surprise he needs time to get his physique right for AFL

So IF he misses all of the Season or a Big Chunck of the Season then it could be a Good Thing in he can Build up Muscle?

Not my point. I just used the dees as a team that ballsed up their early picks a lot. I'm not saying we made mistakes with our picks, more that having them not get on the park is just as devastating to the final result.

Nothing beats time on the park. March experience. That's number 1 in regards to footballing development. But Moore looks a very capable and motivated player so he should be ok after his 'rest'. Let's just hope it's not too severe.

Well its good to build the fitness of the players that can actually handle it. And it seems to be working for the seniors. But I'm talking about the 1-3 year players.

Isn't that what Davorans job is? To build personalised training? Overwise I could get a job just telling everyone to run 1000 laps. I don't have facts to back it up so could be wrong. Just feels like more young players get soft tissue injuries than older players when it should be the other way around.

Yes but my point is that the people actually in the senior team are running out games so maybe we shouldn't sack the fitness coach!

My biggest concern is how high he grabbed his hamstring.

Don't think this will be the conventional 3-4 week injury.

Looked alot worse than Dal Santo's.
Wouldnt be surprised to see him miss 10-12.

Fingers crossed.

I hope that Moore does not need Surgery
