Dont think darnum can buy a flag with blokes that are not going to last more than 2 years. Need to build from the bottom, keep guys like bergles and weller and these kids for a couple more years and you might be a chance to have a crack. The league is too good to buy a flag these days! That guy who is Fias mate at darnum is terrible, big coin and didnt even try in the mud against us.

Have heard that rumour luficer, havent spoke to fia about it but it would not suprise anyone if Fia and Youle wend somewhere together. I did hear dalyston but could just be made up?

I would say that at the moment, we need some decent sized defenders. On most occasions in this year and last, we have been able to kick winning scores, ie 15-16 goals a game. The big problem is that we leak goals far too easily. We have the midfield that can run with the best in the comp, but are undersized in the defensive area when the ball turns over.

The other deficiency is our ruck stocks. We need a good mobile ruckman.

These positions are not often filled from within your own ranks and juniors coming through. Indeed they are rare as rocking horse shit and need to be recruited. Whether it is Fia or whoever is irrelevant. We have a lack of those players coming through the ranks so need to go outside to find them. They dont grow on trees.

As for Bergs and Weller, well who knows where they will be next year. We mightn't have a say in that at all. Bigger people than the Darnum heirachy may well speak to those two in the off season.

1. Nilma Darnum need to make sure they keep the likes of Bergels, Weller, O'Hara, Toporowski. Without them there is not point chasing big name players. Even if it means paying these guys a little bit more than they are probably worth it needs to be dones. These are the sort of guys you can build a club around.

2. Why on Earth go after Fia, Youle and Teniselli? Fia is not a key backman. He is a half back flanker. He is not really someone who can stop a forward, but more someone who creates drive from half back like a Malceski. Youle is not a top class ruckman. Catani had to go after Smith because he was not up to the number 1 job. And Teneselli? Please, he is lucky to be in the Catani team.
