Dasher returns home to Vic

"ADELAIDE defence coach Darren Milburn has quit the club to return home to Victoria, headlining a number of changes to the club's football department.

The Crows are yet to announce their senior coach for season 2016, although the club expects to be in a position to do so shortly after the AFL Grand Final.

Milburn was lured to West Lakes by former teammate Brenton Sanderson in 2012 and has helped the likes of Daniel Talia and Jake Lever take huge steps forward in their respective careers."

The AFL site reports that Dasher Milburn is returning to Victoria.

We still haven't appointed a VFL coach.

What are the chances it'll be a home-town hero who gets the job?
Hmmm not a bad idea. I like it actually. Dasher in charge of our young kids with Rooke in development. Sounds good.

Probably pissed off with how Adel are handling the Dangerfield negotiation :p
LOL Apparently, Dasher's wife is going to be Mardi's bridesmaid, so the Milburns are returning + need to get their kids into school. So I heard from a footy friend, who's Aunty Billy Bob's next door neighbour heard from her seventh cousin, four times removed, who was cleaning someone from GFC admin's car :D

Wonder if he is interested in the VFL coaching gig at the cats. Having him and Scarlett working with the future defenders is exactly what we need.
May have been mentioned before that Scarlett is now working full-time as a development coach.

Was she a hairdresser? The source of the rumour, I mean

No rumour can be authenticated unless there's a hairdresser somewhere in the line of Chinese whispers!

Was working full time this season anyway, apparently. His hours have just now been formally acknowledged.

Can't wait to see what he has moulded Smedts into. :)

OK then, I'll check + get back to you.

Employed part-time, but worked full-time hours, yes.

I posted this in another thread. Any locker room with Scarlo, Dasher and Rooke.

Good luck surviving their death stare.

Get it done. Dasher has done well by all reports in SA. And he will bring his hardness, but also a different perspective to the club.

Id like to see Smithy as well.

I know it a lot of the old breed but make it happen.

Go Catters

Smithy is too mr nice guy to be a coach.
Unless he has magically created a tougher edge the last year or 2...

Smithy has development coach written all over him.

Might bring a bit of something else to balance the hard nuts.
He was always more a "doer" than a talker, from what I could see- perhaps he can lead by example and show our young blokes some new tricks.

Wouldn't mind Mooney's help in the forward line. :)
