Thank goodness your good mate Hirdy is standing strong. Lets hope it ends now like he demanded last night.
 
So, this is all the media's fault... right?
Essendon played the game, and they lost. In fact, they're getting ****ed right now. Don't screw around in the media if you don't know what you're doing. It's that simple. Maybe they hired the wrong people. Maybe they were too arrogant. Whatever it was, i'm really struggling to have any sympathy for those in charge at the club. They made their bed.

Shortly? the first so called infractions would have occurred 7-8 months previous to that. I'm pretty sure that's not how WADA operate, I could be wrong however

Evans stated it was for business reasons foremost.

So who is spinning innuendo, rhetoric, half truths and probably lies here? Him or you?

This isn't a victory for the media. This is a victory for all football supporters who've had to sit by and watch Essendon rub everyone's nose in their trail of lies. A club who allows its employees to be routinely and systematically injected with amazingly high amounts of non human approved substances to benefit those at the top, and financial benefactors of Calzada and seemingly at the expense of people's health and well being.

It's a victory, seemingly, for a push in the right direction. Not because it is Essendon, but because Essendon is the one who chose to do this.
 
I'm a huge realist so I'm not delusional about sanctions I do expect them but to what degree who knows? This is what I personally would of accepted with these two hypothetical scenarios.

- Bringing the game in disrepute for bad governance but ASADA found no S2 PEDs just found a whole lot of dodgyness. Penalty: 1 million fine, draft picks r1 and r2 for one year, dodgy people directly involved sacked(Weopon and Dank)

- Bringing the game in disrepute for bad governance but ASADA DID find S2 PEDs. Penalty: 3 million fine, draft picks r1 and r2 for two years and points stripped for the 2013 season, dodgy people directly involved sacked (could be only Dank went rogue or a whole club orchestrated the supplement program and endorsed/knew about PEDs)

With scenario 2 and if Dank went rogue and the club didn't know about it the public faces should stay (Hird,Robson,Thompson,Evans) them getting sacked is the easy way out, they should stay to rectify the problem that happened and if the want to leave the club it must be in a better state than they started. Calling for peoples heads is just a show thing to do to satisfy the haters and media.

IDK why I am posting a logical response as trolls jump on anything, I personally would like to discuss all areas/possibilities/outcomes with opposition supporters on what may or may not have happened, how this saga may end but negative news creates more noise than positive news so people harp the one tune only to feel recognised.

The facts will come out, and you'll be vindicated or not. This is a feeding frenzy like nothing BF has ever witnessed. I'm sure you don't want anyone's pity so I'll not feel sorry for you. As much as your footy club sits high on my "least favourites" list, you've fought a valiant rearguard action that I'm not sure your club deserves from you at this point... and in many respects I hope you're right because I'm not sure what it means for the game if you're wrong.
