Probably shouldn't speculate until the report comes out. ;)

I don't doubt he had a break down... I doubt he had a heart attack last night and released a press conference and spent the day ringing people.

WOW, you really are taking this Evans resignation hard, aren't you?

Here's a question: How can you have the gall for calling out people that don't have sympathy for Evan's mysterious health problems, BUT you won't call out Evan' for failing to make sure that players health's weren't compromised by people at the club injecting them with substances not approved for human therapeutic use? Serious question.
 
I'd like to know what happened since Thursday's statement by Evans that he will not be resigning, and last night's dizzy spell that has forced him to abandon the ship and resign.

Why say on Thursday that he is not resigning when in fact it has been on his agenda. This is another example of why AFL supporters have had enough of this charade that Essendon has been acting out - just seems like lies, lies and more lies.

On a final and serious note, I sincerely hope that there is nothing wrong with the man.

If the Essendon footballers allegedly involved were Olympic athletes, we would be calling for all of their heads ... but because its a football club involved, people have an emotional attachment or involvement or one side and rivalry on the other.

True. Mostly to counteract the laughable faux outrage on this forum.

But I'm not trying to come up with ulterior motives, or assassinate someone's character based on them giving up their position at the club under obvious extreme circumstances. That's the kind of situation that shouldn't really be made 'light of'.

Oh yes poor David.

His plan of getting his mate Ziggy to write a report if things went pair shaped failed. You can just imagine himself and 'Hirdy' sitting around drinking a few reds talking about their 'fool proof plan' many pre-seasons ago - sorry boys the rogue scientist story just didn't cut it.

He has treated the public like fools and underestimated their desire for the truth.

In my opinion the media need to be congratulated, for investigating, asking the right questions and revealing the truth... more to come i'm sure.

It's not surprising he broke down - carrying around so much guilt for so long, and no one he can really talk to about it without revealing what a cheating scumbag he is.

Again I ask: Why didn't Evans (a senior person at the club) ensure that the players health was not compromised with unapproved substances?
I mean, why should anyone feel for Evans when he had the chance to protect the players who trusted him, but failed to do so?
