You honestly think North would trade for a second round pick or early third round? Robbie Warnock (who is no godd IMO) was trade for pick 23 and two other pick (above 50). Hale is twice the player warnock is and may be older but your kidding if you think North would hale go for anything less than two picks between 15-40

I wouldn't give up anything more than a 3rd rounder and a fringe player (e.g. Bell) in order to get him.

He'd be nice, but he is by no means a necessity.

LOL your the one thats living in the dream time mate. Hale is nothing but an ORDINARY player that can't even get a game! He's super inconsistant aswell. Warnock is a promising talented kid that will probably turn out 10x better than Hale. Would'nt waste our trades on that balding giant.

Agreed

One good game (8 goals against Geelong last year) and his 'talent' has subsequently become MASSIVELY overrated.

Oh please, people are stuck on their impressions of Hale this season where he had been asked to be the focal point of North's forward line which he has struggled with.

Hell if he had played a lot more with Corey Jones and Drew Petrie up forward with him this season I think his output would have been much greater.

I really do think he could a very good addition to our forward line with the likes of Bate, Jurrah and Watts and his ruckwork is better than that of Meesen, Spencer and Johnson with it being perhaps a bit better than Jamar's.

I wouldn't be prepared to give up pick 18 but they wouldn't be prepared to take our pick in the 30's.

Ask most North supporters and they would take pick 18 in a heartbeat for Hale and I know our 3rd round pick is nowhere near enough.

Hale has almost no trade value whatsoever right now.

Dez! You are right. But he has signed a 4 year deal, so I don't think North will pay him out and trade him. North would be the loser in the deal money wise. If Hale's contract was up for grabs, we would take Pick 18 in a heartbeat as Dez! said.

And just what exactly else is a 25 yr old 201cm forward supposed to be up front bar a focal point?

His ruckwork is no better than Jamar's, Meeson's and perhaps even PJ's.

Heaps of, if not most North fans would love to see the back of him if they got draft picks below 30-40- he is simply not worth it.
