I think the club explained quite regularly that it meant hitting 3 drafts hard, and not a rags to riches timeline. As it currently stands we nailed the first, went so-so in the second and blew it in the third. Fingers crossed Dow and LOB change that perception though.

The hope is that TDK will help with that.

My bad, got that one wrong. Guilty of doing what I've accused others of doing, no research.

Doubt that I got that Melbourne game wrong though given the swing is more than their total score :D

Don't reckon I'm splitting hairs at all and your comment that "it feels like it happens every second week" is typical of a perception against reality attitude which is used by many on here to whack the coach. That just, IMO, is not right.

Fully agree that it has happened far too often in the past but this seasons stats indicate to me that it's on the improve. I also think that the longer we go with oppos thinking they're never out of a game against us the harder it'll be for us to win. We must put a stop to it and already have changed those run ons from regular five goals to four at the worst (except the Bulldogs game) this year. Still must get much, much better.

BTW we've had more than a few five goal run ons ourselves, in fact this season more for than against.
So I had a look and looks like it was 5+ goal runs against lions and dogs, 4 against Richmond and port. That's all the good teams we've played, and bad enough for me. If it doesn't happen today, I'll accept that it's an improvement.

If we don't make the grand final today I see no improvement

I come in peace and with respect to ask a question. I get the frustration with Teague but from my blues supporting mates and what I read on BigFooty, it seems that SOS gets away almost blameless for the current list challenges. Keen to know why he's slightly protected?

Am I seeing it right?
Because he did the job he was supposed to do. He got in talent. It's not his fault if we don't have the assistant coaches to develop the talent properly. Your "blues supporting mates" appear to be dickheads.

I do not understand how AFL coaches continually sit in their boxes during the game, and are not on the bench with the players. Isn't that why every other football league on the PLANET has assistant coaches in the "box". And to watch Teague raise his eyebrows, mutter something, and look completely inept in the coaches box infuriates me.
Officially off the Teague train, but don't want the likes of Lyon as coach next year, want Voss, the man who I originally wanted as our coach. Brings a bit of campaigner to the picture.

Our one tall forward can not raise his arms above his head. Lever and May are intercept marking literally everything.

what does he do? Instruct them
To bomb it in long every time

******* donkey
not sure it would have been an instruction but it was really dumb the way our players continued to do that. all we needed was for one of our forwards to run at the kicker because all the dees talls were running back with H and intercepting all night.

Firstly I'm not even angry, last week loss against the Dogs broke me..

I'm so confused with what to think..
Don't like sacking people because they have families and kids.. But, can we afford to keep going like this, into next year?

We traded for the now and to make our push now,
but at this stage we are just wasting years from the playing group..

Teague and Co have some weird ass philosophies about attack only and stuff defence,
that the Board and Football Department, have let him run free with this and haven't pulled him up... Why?

Teague's team selections also beggar belief,
  • Gibbons (horribly out of form) over Honey (two way pressure player who kicks goals)
  • Casboult (7 possessions, 3 HO) over TDK
We have the group, it's time to get the best Coach and Assistants we can that is going to take us to a flag..
It that also costs us Andrew Russell, to afford it then so be it...

Edit - It's all well and good blaming assistants (want them totally cleaned out also), but they only follow what Teagues vision and game plan is

Bolts super defensive, no attack, development over wins

Teague super attacking, no defence, wins over development.

No wonder we are struggling. Polar opposites. And both wrong to an extent find a medium please.

Our coach keeps playing Murphy as if he is trying to get him over the 300 game milestone, when his form is shocking and does not warrant a game. He also plays Levi to get him to 150, instead of TDK, when Levi cannot run because of a knee injury, and was "gone" a year and a half ago. He won't chase or commit himself and is a liability to the side. Williams, our marquee signing is not a midfielder's a...s.... and should instead be playing in defence, He and Saad are on big money and terrible disappointments. Seems like Cotterell has also hit a brick wall last few games. Gibbons has been awful all year and still gets picked. Just can't work out why these non-performing players continually get picked?

Murphy was good today and easy in our best 22. Yes not popular here in BF. Don’t understand why.
