This year's Carlton reminds me of the cats of 06, lost lots of winnable games, you know what we did a full review, got rid of some assistants but kept bomber and kept the Costa, cook and bomber relationship, the easy decision is go get an experienced coach, that hasn't worked at Carlton, do the review but keep Teague, chase Pyke as senior a/C not sold on Brad Lloyd, get balmey would be my take

Your aware Thompson.got them to semi finals in 05, only to be beaten by Nick Davis brilliance.

The players literally revolted. That was no Hardwick moment. That's a horrible revision and re writing

This is what the kool.aid drinkers do.

Bolton should have been sacked at end of 2018. With a club wide independent review undertaken.

We apparently did one, just ask Liddle but never released the finding publicly.

Missed opportunity and a great example of the lack of accountability from President down.

Our board needs to go. We need fresh blood, fresh ideas. Total.club cleanout.

Let’s say Teague stays and they clear out majority of of assistant coaches. Who do we head hunt to replace them?

Coaching like pure sh*t but my gut feel is they won't get rid of him.

I dare say before making such a big decision they will want to assess him with decent assistants around him, as they should imo.

He's coached 2.5 years.

His first 1/2 year was caretaker.
His second year was a weird COVID year.

This year is a disaster but it would be pretty brutal to give him the flick now.

But who knows, we could (and should) conduct a pretty hefty review and find that he's no good and be forced to make the change. Either way I hope we go through the right processes to make the deicsion.

Absolutely not he wanted these coaches when the Club didn't.

The buck stops with Teague.

Power is the only coach I want to keep right now.

My only question to these is exactly what is the "Carlton brand of footy in 2021" Seems to be the same every week, defense that is all based on 1v1 which has conceded 100 points a week, midfield who doesnt run both ways and a forward line that is has the coleman leader despite the sheer number scrappy inside 50s. I know Harry got knocked out this weekend but way is he ALWAYS up against 2 defenders?!?! Surely a forward coach can tell someone to block for him or make sure he isnt using one hand to hold off two blokes.

Personally I think Teague should stay but all these line coaches who have not helped improve the team since 2019 should be given the flick.

Our brand of footy is allowing the opposition to easily move the ball through the midfield and put the ball lace out inside 50.
