Another century on the way for the worst first class cricketer in Australia.

NZ should have batted first. I know the pitch was a bit dodgy but their cumalative net run rate would have been improved more.

i could do the maths myself but it's late and can't be bothered. seeing as ur pushing this 'barrow, give us some figures and show us what the case could have been.Originally posted by Kenny_01
If they had scored 325 off 50 and then bowled Canada out for under 200, that would have given them a better NRR.

i agree. and who said the system couldn't be rigged?
i was thinking earlier that Australia's last Super Six game could be interesting. Would we dare lose to Kenya to ensure that they finish 4th in the Super Six, so that we play them again in the semi-final?
It would have to be tempting if the loss would ensure that scenario.

I was thinking that myself today (assuming of couse SL beat SAF tonight), especially if Aus win their first 2 super 6 matches they couldnt be displaced from top spot unless Kenya win their first 2, BUT that would be match-fixing wouldnt it !!!!![]()
Not to mention it would probably make a farce of the world cup and insulting to Kenya
