IMO Weddle is easily in the top 50i thought i would do a July update for my top 50
a few changes, a couple of players in Scully and Munkara going down the order for not being picked by their teams in the champs, a more clear understanding where the interstate and Victorian players stand in comparison to each other.
also a more clear understanding of the top end of the draft:
Elite: Ashcroft, Wardlaw, Hewett, Keeler, Sheezel imo

Scully pretty ordinary for West U18's on the weekend, radar was off as well, Lemmey better but still down on 2021 form by a fair margin. Barnett excellent again.i thought i would do a July update for my top 50

So the one SA KPP who is performing.Keeler
Nope, Barnett is more than a pure ruck, no reason why he can't play KPP.So the one SA KPP who is performing.

What are your thoughts on Sam Gilbey? Some seem to rate him pretty highly.
Sam Gilbey looked fantastic in the u17's series last year, his agility and run from half back was a highlight in that series against SA, he then played in the u19's series against SA and i thought he was a lot less influential, whether that be the bigger bodies of guys who were 18-19 and built like men or the rise in competitiveness of those games, but it was noticeable, he has struggled a little this year at WAFL u18s and in the WA team, has not developed much physically either, so after the u17's i had him as a potential 2nd rounder now idk where he stands, maybe a late pick?, had an ok game against VM last weekend.
Yes. Will be interesting to see where he stands come November. There is no denying his athletic ability and natural talent as a footballer.Sam Gilbey looked fantastic in the u17's series last year, his agility and run from half back was a highlight in that series against SA, he then played in the u19's series against SA and i thought he was a lot less influential, whether that be the bigger bodies of guys who were 18-19 and built like men or the rise in competitiveness of those games, but it was noticeable, he has struggled a little this year at WAFL u18s and in the WA team, has not developed much physically either, so after the u17's i had him as a potential 2nd rounder now idk where he stands, maybe a late pick?, had an ok game against VM last weekend.
Yes. Will be interesting to see where he stands come November. There is no denying his athletic traits and natural football ability. He has obviously risen in stocks over the past 18 months but agree he has struggled a little this season. His game on Saturday I too thought was ok. Some of that could be due to illness but it will be interesting to see how that plays out over the rest of the season. Would like to see him put a number of consecutive games together over the course of the remainder of the season.Sam Gilbey looked fantastic in the u17's series last year, his agility and run from half back was a highlight in that series against SA, he then played in the u19's series against SA and i thought he was a lot less influential, whether that be the bigger bodies of guys who were 18-19 and built like men or the rise in competitiveness of those games, but it was noticeable, he has struggled a little this year at WAFL u18s and in the WA team, has not developed much physically either, so after the u17's i had him as a potential 2nd rounder now idk where he stands, maybe a late pick?, had an ok game against VM last weekend.
i dont know yet, i would like to see him in the champs for more than 1 game, he wasnt that great against Vic Metro, he had a couple of moments, but also fumbled and turned over the ball a few times, i want to see how he goes against a defensive Vic Country set up and an SA team who always give it their all, so i can compare him to players from other states better, state games can be a good sign, but dont always mean he is AFL standard, i just want to delay giving my opinion until i've seen him in the champs, because i have not seen him last year and he hasnt really impressed yet, i have put him in a list prior as a place holder until the champs, but after the Metro game i dropped him.Where do you rate Steely Green, having just played some good footy at league?

Not two drafts apart, but the Brayshaw brothers.Has there ever been 2 Brothers rated in the top 5 2 drafts apart?
Okay not what Twomey is saying has him top 3Not two drafts apart, but the Brayshaw brothers.
I don’t believe anyone is rating Levi top 5. He’s possibly not even top 10.
Haven’t read Twomey yet.Okay not what Twomey is saying has him top 3

I don't have any of their dob, but Dyson Sharp looks very mature for a 15 year old, he looks like a grown man.Of the lists Davo, Dyson Sharp's the only one born in 2007 which makes him 2025 eligible.
