Any other fans here? Have loved his work for a while now and finally saw him at Good Vibes last week. He was SENSATIONAL!! The whole set was crazy. Here is the last 10 minutes of it:

Overated...not a very good mixer at all...but he can wow a fan with all his special effects that he does.
absolute computer geek, his productions are so similar to one another, hes got about 400 remixes/bootlegs/originals out there, and only about 5-6 catch my eye.
also a **** of a bloke when tlaking about other djs

An enigma. Says he hates DJs.....yet he DJs. Says he thinks all dance music sounds the same....yet every single one of his tracks - every single one - sounds the same. Ill give him kudos for creating a gimmick and a sound thats made him popular and the masses seem to eat up, but hes a big bucketload of meh for me, and wouldnt be in my top 50 of DJs and electronic artists that id like to see

Don't mind of few of Dead Mouse's tracks, quite easy to mix in, very minimal, but has a definate formular to his music, doesn't seen to stray away from that, Tongy seems to love him though!!!

ghost n stuff especially the hard intro version is arguably one of the biggest hits for the summer. the vocal version with the lead singer from pendulum is reasonable but just the instrumental version is without a doubt deadmau5 best song to date.

this guy is incredibly good im predicting him to possibly take over burren's rank in a matter of a year and maybe even tiesto. he is that ****en good.

the flipping shite location and pin sized stage didn't help him.. still a pretty average show but. was really hoping he would play arguru as its one of only a few songs of his that i like and he let me down..

You have to be off your face,but what these people fail to realize is that with good enough drugs,even the wiggles is off the hook

Pretty much my biggest gripe right there. I may hate Indie music, but I can atleast respect some of the musicians; can't say the same for Techno.

on what? I think you either get electronic music, or you dont. Labelling it all as 'techno' isnt a good start.

in regards to deadmau5, I find his music incredibly formulaic....one of the big criticisms of his productions is they all sound very similar. I also hate the mouse head gimmick. But in terms of popularity and sales, I think hes led the Beatport sales charts for the last couple of years. But thats no surprise or any different to pop charts.

Theres tons of different genres and loads of very talented producers out there but it depends what you like. Theres tons of wicked ambient and downtempo stuff out there, funky jazzy house, hard as **** drum n bass, prog house that takes you on a journey, depends what you like....or you like nothing. No biggie.

Ah, haven't heard that. I have his EM from this year, Live @ Wonderland in Ibiza if you want it. It's starts off pretty energetically, but moves into his prog stuff later in the set.
