Unless Bancroft smashes a ton it's over. And he isn't exactly a quick scorer
Bancroft hasnt been willing to take any risks in his innings (tonight against NSW). He does strike me as a player that is unwilling to take risk at the expense of playing the team game.

With the required run rate in double digits, not sure what his intent is given he has had a good look 34 off 43 balls. Even in T20 cricket, he never striked me as a player that striked it at a good enough click. There is a reason why his game style suits the Sydney Thunder and their wickets over there.

If play is delayed at 10:30 for bad light that's not a good sign for how the day is going to pan out.
Certainly not looking like seeing sunshine anytime soon in Melbourne.

Doubt thats enough. Difference between to the dynasty years and this team is either Wyllie or Fanning would've stood up and got a century.

Might be a bit of an unpopular opinion, why couldnt one schedule a game a day between now and the next international? i.e Monday 20th October, Tuesday 21st October, Wednesday 22nd October? Its not as if it also clashes with any Australian ODI fixture with India.

Would rather that, then have 3 games on at the same time on the same day.

WA and Victoria are on the bottom 2 of the standings. These two teams have fixtures against each other in the home run and its probably mathematically impossible for either to make a final if they split the series 1-1.

Went to the game today between QLD v NSW at Cricket Central. Sam Konstas struggled with the bat and more so in the powerplay overs.

Needed to make the most of the conditions then as that is supposedly when the runs are easiest to come by.

One thing I noticed about the wicket today, was they were playing to the far left of one of the wickets, which made scoring to one side of a boundary longer. NSW didnt play the dimensions of the ground right as alot of their shots were hit to fielders out on the boundary.

weird scheduling. Tas vs SA game today, and then Vic vs WA on Dec 2nd (to bring everyone up to 4 games) and then nothing under February (obviously due to BBL/Tests). not sure why they couldn't have squeezed these 2 games in earlier.
