Carlton to win their last two and shoot up a few positions. Sorry death-riders.
I'm not so sure.

Hope springs eternal.
I want Carlton to keep losing!Prefer the Blues won. Suns are the one team that could knock us out of a possible top 4 spot if we won our last 2.

Well between Carlton, Port Adelaide away from home and the Bombers VFL team, I'll grudgingly take the blues. You trust Carlton, I don't.

Great username.Just realised that in Rd 24 I'll be barracking for the Scum not once, but twice. Has put a dampener on what has otherwise been a quite pleasant weekend.
Imagine being disappointed at the Scum getting flogged twice in 5 or 6 days.

Bombers will win in round 24 to setup another offseason of “they’re coming” hype.Need Port to beat them this week (likely Pick 6) otherwise we could be looking at Pick 8. Reckon they beat the Bombers.
Carlton are just as likely to do the same. May even have a membership campaign about they're comingBombers will win in round 24 to setup another offseason of “they’re coming” hype.
If anyone is in need of a really good laugh then go read the last 2 pages of West Coast's Hawks Death Ride thread. I'm not gonna lie I think I might've peed my pants a little![]()

I still cannot believe people saw how we finished the year with a young improving list, AND added 2 A grade defenders, had players set to return from long term injuries and only lost 1 player (Ethan Phillips) who played a senior game in 2024. Compared to Carlton who lost some good players (Kennedy, Martin, Owies) , crashed out late in the year and had some aging injury prone players, Added nobody through trade.Hoe Lee Sh$# you are not kidding....![]()

If you flip the GC, GWS game I think we can get to third. As we still have GWS covered for percentage. Or we can just win by more and jump GC on percentage too as that's close. If there was an ideal finish to the season this would be it. Results have to go our way but there's a chance

Gold coast still has the Druggies to play so they'll end up with a higher % than us. They'd have to be soundly beaten by either GWS or Port (If you flip the GC, GWS game I think we can get to third. Rather play Geelong at the MCG in a first final that Adelaide in Adelaide. Win that game and play 3 finals at the MCG for a flag.
Im not sure we want risk Carton passing Stkilda do we? Better to keep Saints above them and hope essendon can beat the Blues as well as win their final game v Gold Coast (unlikely but still a live chance). If Essendon beats Stkilda this week, next weeks game could be interesting...
I think a good result for us tonight. Just need the Power to win and a top 6 pick is locked in
I've been circling that Port game for a while - difference between pick 6 and pick 8 (before bids) for us.Yeh, Port game is massive. I don't see Essendon beating them next week. If Carlton win the last 2, they might jump up 2-3 places on the ladder.
