i got a call today from the mfc, asking if i could donate then it would go toward winning a volvo car worth 40k or something, couldnt do it this week so had to decline, will definitly do it. Very smart from the club to offer this to their members

Melbourne is doing really well in the media this year. I kinda think Jim just wanted to make sure everything was right, if you see when he was shown in the huddle he had a very open ear to what was being said.

I collected money for the Dees yesterday... any other BF peeps in the same boat? I got the sh1t spot - 2nd level behind the City End goals, Sydney members section - but the generosity from the few Dees people there was excellent.
Also heard reports from a mate that several $100 notes were being flashed around in the MCC as the buckets went round... excellent form.
