Hi guys, feel free to delete this if opposition supporters aren’t welcome. Just thought I’d give some views from a neutral.

There were multiple periods where your side would get a good chain of movement through the corridor on the counter and there would be absolutely zero forward movement ahead of them. It was quite bizarre tbh I have never seen such disconnect in an AFL match before. It ended up leading to your midfielders either a) bombing it long to no one (Oliver had to do a blind snap from the 50m line at one point in the 4th) or b) attempting to chip it in front of another running midfielder only for it to get chopped off by the peeling Geelong defender.

I don’t know if this is a midfield coach or forward coach issue but I would suspect both. And ultimately it’s a game plan issue which falls on Goodwin, who IMO has looked completely clueless since the end of 2022.

Once again feel to ignore or delete this, because yes I know, haha Saints supporter 1 premiership in a million years haha.

Gawn isn't far off retirement and we're completely running him into the ground like Kane said when you're being presented with these numbers
Gawn can take some of the credit for that. We got the perfect "Tap Brother" for him and he sooked it up because he wasn't getting to play as much midfield time.

That’s because dipstick Goodie was using our forwards to tag or play as a spare back.

Even in last quarter when we could have snatched the match he refused to even up numbers. Just trying to protect himself from big deficit losses really.

That and our administration completely neglecting to invest in any actual forward talent other than Pickett or any proper forward coaching staff for a decade. All they care about is contest and defence.

Don't fret D's fans, you play us next week.
Thought Melb were well in it last night but were killed by shocking umpiring at important stages of the game.

Oppo posters on our board telling us to stick fat. We're so back.

You know, we actually scored 47 points in the infamous 186 game.

That's 1 point more than we scored last night.

Goody-ball is so exciting.
A lot of teams wish they were us - Max Gawn

May, Rivers and Petty combined for 1 tackle.

Bruise free footy!
Really? I can remember May crunching Danger in a tackle twice... Although a was staring into the bottom of a glass more than the tv by the second half...

Petty was weak as piss. Mostly just feel sorry for Rivers.
