The Good
Everything

The Bad
Hawthorn and how sweet it is

The Ugly
Missing the first half to play golf very ****ing badly

That was thoroughly enjoyable to watch from the stands.

Don't even think about bringing McDonald back next week, Jackson and Weideman were great.

Had previously given up on Petracca living up to his talent - happily eating my words. Looked every bit a superstar today.

Great to see Weid leading up at the footy and flying for marks. Credit to the mids for hitting him too.

That was just a very comfortable and enjoyable win, reminded me of our purple patch in 2018 when we were 'the best team in the comp statistically' (which we were to be fair).

I was most impressed with our response in the 3rd quarter when Hawthorn started strongly, they were always going to come out well, but we were able to hold firm and finish strongly.

Trac was a beast again, been awesome watching him break out the season, hope he can keep it up. Weideman was fantastic again, created contests and got on the end of a few. Our midfield was Gawn was also totally dominant, it's our best strength, and when it's working for us, we look damn good.

Onto Brisbane, hopefully we can take it to them.

The good;
Massive win, we jumped up the ladder and technically should be 9th on points per game
Gawn back to his absolute best
Trac showing us his best
Weids best game outside the Elim final
Viney matching some skill with braun
Bennell to Pickett, pickett to Bennell
Backline looks solid and cohesive
Jackson showing some really good signs

the bad;
First 5 mins of the 1st and 3rd.
Coughing up one last goal and dropping below the blues

the ugly;
Brayshaws skills
Some of the umpires decisions - especially the play on calls

Good:
4 quarter performance
Putting a team to the sword
Gawn marking everything, roving his own taps
Tracs most complete game yet
Weid & Jackson competing strongly all game
Lever & May much surer in defense, intercepting and spoiling well
Bennell & Kozzy so dangerous in the f50

Bad:
Melk still looking a bit off
Lockhart, he didn't have much to do, but looks shakey defending

Fugly:
Gus' shanks

Still have faith in McDonald. Feel like he's been screwed over being the lone tall forward with a dreadful game plan.

At least see how he goes with Weid up there and our ball use going inside 50 from the last 2 weeks.
Problem is neither Weid or Jackson deserve to be dropped for him

The best thing about the game was we kept Hawthorn 'run ons' to only back to back goals which I think happened twice. Meanwhile we had a patch of 5 goals in a row followed by 4 in a row I can't think of the last time where we scored so efficiently probably since 2018. Thought everyone had a pretty solid game with gawn and trac absolutely dominating. I asked for a game where I could relax and that I got besides early in the third I felt pretty happy I didn't even notice we got to 49 up would have loved 50+ though.

The only negative I could think of was the fact we missed some really good opportunities to score but no team is perfect. I think Goodwin actually showed his frustration there when Hawthorn scored when we should have. I guess some of our disposal were pretty awful and we had a patch of hospital handballs though somd due to some Hawthorn pressure. Weid had a good game but his set shots still need improvement. I'm still haunted from that Adelaide game last year.

Big test next week Brisbane won't give us the same time to set up defensively. But let's just celebrated this week for now.

The good.
Oliver holding onto the ball until an option presented itself. Looks to have made adjustments since last week, which is a great sign.
Another great game from Jack Viney. He continued to make adjustments and its driving our midfield. He has a record of showing that he can change up his game when needed. Massive upside still.
Petracca was near BOG. Stepped up and is looking like one of the games most dominant mids. More importantly, he is driving our resurgence.
Langdon, great addition, gives us run and carry, and he is using the ball better. Would be residing in the top 5 for our B&F at present.
Gawn was dominant as always, it provides us first use of the ball, its about time we started taking advantage of it, like we did today.

The Bad.
Brayshaw
is absolutely useless. He is a liability. No good traits in him at all, dead set list clogger and we are playing a man down having him out there.
Lockhart must have something on Goodwin, at this point that is the only reason I see him getting a game. Should've been dropped many weeks ago.
