Loved the inclusion of Viney back in the mix. The 3 amigos giving the supporters what they want to see!

It's unfathomable - we should've told him look we want to keep you but this is our best offer. You can extend for a year if you want to stay or consider North's offer but leave the ball in his court. Scrambling to re-sign him for 4 years is ****ing desperado shit

Good:

• Turner becoming a very good player
• At least JVR kicked 2 goals before becoming useless.
• I thought Howes did some nice things.

Bad:

• Geez Petracca is trash by foot. For years, Oliver has been scapegoat in this regard and I've never understand it. Petracca makes Oliver look like Luke Hodge. More than happy to trade him out at the end of the season.
• Kozzie Pickett 2 touches in the 2nd half.

Ugly:

• Viney being smug and not giving the ball back. Costing us a goal, momentum and then arguably the game.
• Sparrow miss from 5m out. That's a 90% make. Petty's miss from 30m out. Hopeless. Momentum killers.
• Mark Williams still having a job after us being the worse goal kicking team in history. Like why is he still here?
• Why were people getting slammed for saying Windsor didn't have star factor and was a Jayden Hunt

Sparrow kick was bad, almost as bad as that one in the 87 preliminary final. Anyway it kind of felt like justice because Petracca's panicked snap was even more horrendous.

Too slow to be in the back line: Lever, Salem
Reflexes too slow to be in the midfield: Petracca, Viney, Oliver
Too short to be in the back half: Bowey
Kicking/passing too bad to be in the team: Petracca, Viney, Oliver, Lever, JVR
Weak overhead: Viney, Oliver, Salem, Petty, JVR, Fritsch, Melks (some of these guys just need practice)
Field kicking and/or goal kicking is okay: May, McVee, Turner, Langdon, Langford, Lindsay, Sparrow, Pickett, Howes, Rivers (just)

I thought Port were good at exploiting our weaknesses.

And a final note, Max needs to always look to handpass. The field kicking is that bad.

footy IQ (or lack thereof) is still the single most important attribute in a footy player. All week the coaches train the players on team structure and system, striving for that 5% improvement even though most weeks we give away about 5 goals from stupidity. Reminds me of a tennis player and only looking at the winners and ignoring the 57 double faults.
