This kind of game (mostly VFL competition is what he played against) last year,if he cant show any significant improvement this season I fear he may be tagged with a what a waist of a top ten pick syndrome.

From 5AA so far:

Best: Knights, Walker, Vince, Petrenko, Tippett, Douglas (only played a half), Reilly, Bock, Hentschel (3 goals).

Concerns: Martin (made about 6 or 7 shocking mistakes), Griffin (slammed by McDermott for his around the ground work), Dangerfield.

I know we get a chubs when we talk about Walker, but holy moly... the bloke seemed to be everywhere. Two goals - including a massive 60m bomb - three assists, a lot of presence, all in less than a half of footy.

Err, I'm serious.

Would you count him kicking goals at training as his first goal? Doubt it.

If you counted Lockett's pre season practice scratchy goals against Box Hill 15th's I'm sure his record would be a lot higher than 1340. ;)
