Does anyone know how many players Richmond has to delist to get to 35?

I thought we were already there. I think we started with 37.

Off: Campbell (veterans), Sziller, Hudson (retired) Torney (traded)
On: Johnson, Blumfield

I think we would be looking to go below 35 though. We have 7 draft picks - 14, 45, 51, 67, 83, 99 and 115.
We would probably try to use 4 or 5 of those and also create some salary cap space for our top 3 pick in the preseason draft.

Would be a bit rough getting rid of Dragacevic, but hard decisions need to be made.

Poyas should probably go - he's obviously not getting anywhere at Richmond so time to find a new home. I still suspect he's got something in him though.

I'd be happy with 4 new kids and two from the preseason.
I think there will be a fair bit of talent around from discarded players in the preseason draft..
We've also got the rookie list to full back on as well.

That's if we fill the list to 38. I thought I saw somewhere that we would probably have a list of 36, for cap reasons. Can't remember where I saw it though.

I swear that one minute ago, there was a post saying Ednie had been delisted. I don't know if he's been delisted or not now. Anyway, that's why I commented on him in the previous post.

You did blurton however i deleted it .........found it on the punt road end message board under Poyas,(not sourced ) posted it here but when i tried to source it on other sites i couldnt find any official verification so i removed it .

"RICHMOND will cut Craig Ednie, Scott Homewood and Ezra Poyas, a Liston Trophy winner.

After the retirements of Matthew Knights and Steve Sziller and the trading of Jason Torney, the Tigers are likely to have four picks in the draft -- selections 14, 45, 51 and 67 -- and could go into the season one player short again. "

I'm a Melbourne supporter just browsing through to see if Ednie was really delisted. Seems strange, I'd take him at Melbourne any day!!

We will either redraft someone (ednie if his not already gone) or pass on 67 and 83.

I think Poyas will be drafted, but not by the tigers.
Ednie is a good chance.
Homewood never really impressed me, which could have been due to the fact I hardly never got to see him play at coburg. Might end up at the doggies?


Still think we need a backman. If only we could find a James Clement or a Simon Cox in the Draft.
