Richmond has trimmed its playing list after the completion of the 2010 trade period.

During the trade period, Richard Tambling and Andrew Collins moved to Adelaide and Carlton respectively, while Shaun Grigg arrived at Punt Road from Carlton.

Ben Cousins, Graham Polak and Troy Simmonds all announced their retirements in 2010.

Tom Hislop, Jordan McMahon, Dean Polo, Adam Thomson, Relton Roberts and rookie Alroy Gilligan have been delisted.

The Tigers return to training in early November, ahead of the 2010 National Draft on November 18.

No suprises there, pretty much knew they were going to be delisted at the start of the year besides Relton

Pretty impressive that only ONE guy that Hardwick recruited was delisted, especially considering we went up to Pick 71.

So that means we have 10 spots on our list. With Bachar coming in the PSD, that leaves 9.

Got rid of some deadwood and picked up Grigg, a few more picks and potentially Houli. IMO, we have done well in the off season thus far

You'd think that with Gourdis to be elevated and Grigg coming in that will mean we will have 5 picks in the ND + a PSD pick

Robert,Polak and Gilligan were rookies so that would mean Miller onto the Mature age rookie list and then 3 rookies onto the list!

Thanks for the list. No surprises, the suspects are gone and can't wait till draft day. I hope the delisted players get picked up as rookies somewhere else.

Yep, Gilligan and RR were rookie listers, I guess if we take around 5-6 picks and promote Gourdis that would cover it. I hope Jordy gets picked up too but he won't. Polo would be no chance either I wouldn't have thought.

Two year contracts for all those taken in the ND. In terms of rookie listers they'll be given two years anyway (unless they decide to leave a la Relton), just look at Westhoff.

apart from the fact that he is a required player , why do we need to promote him to the senior list THIS YEAR !!

why cant we leave him on the rookie list & promote him next year if we want to.

i think there is a 3 year maximum on the rookie list, otherwise clubs would screw players over on their contracts

Added to that I have no doubt he would walk if we tried to pull that shit on him and get drafted by somebody else.
Deserves more coin then what rookies get.
