But, like his insisting that Carlton players should in the return game of '12 try and rub out Jobe and avenge Carrazzo, he does to a degree that he'd never say these things about another club at all. Everyone knows he's an Essendon supporter... just row, row like RoRo and live with it, or be genuinely dispassionate about your club like Mike Sheahan. No one was getting close to us that year. Yes, Carlton were the second best side that season but the gulf was still large. And, at the end of the day, Melbourne were in far better touch come finals time anyway. They were deserving grand finalists.
