17 - Yze, Adem (=3 overall)
16 - Johnstone, Travis (=6 overall)
11 - Neitz, David (=19 overall)
6 - Leoncelli, Andrew (=53 overall)
3 - Ward, Daniel (=96 overall)
3 - Woewodin, Shane (=96 overall)
3 - Powell, Stephen*(=96 overall)
2 - Brown, Nathan (=129 overall)
2 - Green, Brad (=129 overall)
1 - Bizzell, Clint (=175 overall)
1 - Broadbridge, Troy (=175 overall)

Nothing that wasn't expected, Yze and Johno did better than I thought they would. Neitz, Powell, White and Biz didn't go as well as I expected, but overall it was a good result.

Well done to all those who polled, especially our big 3.

I thought Brown & Biz could've got a few more, very disappointed that Brucey missed out completely.

I thought Yze & Johnno were a chance with 5 rounds to go but Black was too good, well done to him.

Well done to OOOOOZE and TRAV on getting some good votes.
but also congrats to the winner Simon Black, i was hoping for him to win. I knew Luke Darcy wouldn't win hes to over-rated.

Well done to the boys, we polled quite well.

Yze, TJ and Neitz polled as expected, was extremely disappointed that Bruce missed our completely as he deserved some votes. And Green even got more than him?

Good to see Biz and Browny get a vote or two also. And with Yze and TJ - boy do we need to sign them, and sign them soon!

These umpires are ****** idiots:mad:
I had bet on Neitz to get the most votes ahead of Brad Johnson, Warren Tredrea, Nathan Brown (WB) and Barry Hall.

How Neitz did not get BOG against Brisbane is pathetic, and a disgrace that he did not even get 1 vote against Post, despite being voted BOG by the media.

Cost me some money:mad:

Welldone to Yze and Johnstone.

I was disappointed to see Neitz not get three in the Brissie game also. I thought, however, that he was lucky to get three when he kicked 7 against the Doggies. Yze had over 30 touches and had much more influence than him.

But, I'm happy with how we went on the whole (Bar the votes in the last Rd. for the Saints game, we were ripped off!)

To all those ****ers who don't rate Travis Johnstone can get ****ed!
I've had a million arguments on this website with people who reckon Travis was the worst no. 1 pick ever and how much better Brad Ottens is... whatcha got to say now?!!?

Travis Johnstone is a genius...

24 posts and 1,000,000 arguments doesnt quite add up, but I hear what you're saying. ;)

A couple more good games and a bit of luck and he could've won it.

He did miss 2 games due to injury, next year when he gets another preseason under his belt, maybe... but i'm not fussed if he doesn't win a brownlow... he is just a brilliant footballer and people don't recognise his skills. Without the ball he moves into the right position, with the ball - if nothings on he will create, never wastes a possession, always does something positive for the team. :)

I would still rather had Brad Ottens..

Travis is a really talented player....skill wise.....but he never gets under the packs and is very loose......IMO a good big man always is a better pick up than a good small man..

Johnstone had a better year than Croad, Ottens, Tarrant, Power....all players picked after him. He had by far the better year, and in all seriousness, can only get better.

They said when he was first picked up that he was the most talented player in the draft for a long time, and I believe we are just beginning to see it come to the fore.

But you need all types, we already have one of the best big men, Jeff White.

Not everyone needs to dive under packs & crunch blokes, it takes all types to make a good team. Trav plays to his strengths, running hard into space & using the ball properly. His tackling has improved markedly in the last two seasons & he showed while injured that he can play up forward & take a strong contested mark.

He is still improving.

Ottens is pretty handy too of course.
