Looks like TigerGlory has given himself 4 votes on the poll 
I will not confirm nor deny rumours regarding how the information was leaked. However, I will say that I am just happy to have ended what has been a long season, and am looking forward to the best and fairest count. Afterwards, it will be easier to reassess where we are at as a club. If, at that point, a decision needs to be made, then we will make it as a club. There is no doubt the story is a beat up.
But, TigerGlory, controversey is what this leage runs on. And if you can't handle it, then leave my club.

The TAB put up odds for the Demons captaincy for 2010.
Firstly...
Sole captain: $2.35
Co-captains: $1.15
Secondly...
EBIAC: $1.10
TigerGlory: $1.85
Okeydoke7: $1.85
Roughie: $3.50
Headless: $4.20
Cooney: $6.80
Tim_Saints*: $101
*Not a Demon yet, but has been backed after speculation.
All betting was this evening suspended. Bookmakers believe Okey will make a statement tomorow regarding his position on the captaincy.
Early betting on the Demons performance for next year has also been suprising.
Make the finals: $1.85
Not make the finals: $1.85
Like most years, the Demons have firmed for next year.
However, betting has also been suspended on this market. It is believed there may be a serious review of the top 5 system, in favour of a top 4.
In other betting news, the Baghdad Bombers are unbelievably flag favourites for next year with opening prices as low as $2.25. Despite missing the finals, there is a strong sense that the Bombers will bounce back next season.
The reigning wooden spooners in the Demons are equal 2010 wooden spoon favourites with the Geelong Gumbies.
All Mod Squad betting has been suspended due to lack of interest.
Breeno has now joined Tim_Saints as equal favourite for the EKA medal, whilst 2121 has been backed in to $30 after amazing on-field performances. It is believed his wife, 1212, pleasured the bookmakers.
The Gumbies have also been subject to an unusual betting trend. They are $1.80 to retain their club name, and $3.10 to change it. They were $15 before a major external push for a name change.
There has also been some interest in where Boncer will post first when he returns from his 10 day absence. The league has been extremely active despite his absense, proving that the SFA would be just fine without him. The Mount Buller Demons thread is equal favourite along with any thread bagging 2121.

True, and everything in the article is technically correct. I did have a dicussion with TigerGlory, and it was jocular. In fact, I even considered my position in terms of the captaincy. But it was not how it was made out to be. I certainly was never going to attempt to overthrow a captain.
The outside perception is, that there is some significant in-fighting on the cards at the Demons between TigerGlory and yourself particularly.
Mate, it hasn't been discussed amongst the team yet. That is how far my interest went, I haven't even discussed it with teammates.

No. There are scenarios in which I would accept it. If TigerGlory stood down as captain and EBIAC needed some help, then if I thought I was the best man I would do it. The fact is, I am passionate about the club and will always do what Ifeel is best for us as a whole.

Not neccesarily. You are right in syaing this was never considered because I want the captaincy. In all seriousness, I am not interested in attempting to become a captain next year.

That would have dissapointed me. As I said at the time, he is the best thing down at the dees. He has been through it all, and has competition respect. TigerGlory doesn't.

Not at all. I like him as a person, I was just mucking around creating controversey. I do not want to captain the Demons next year, unless special circumstances arise. I will concentrate on getting the footy mate. I don't need the captaincy to be awesome.

I gave the Dees my commitment until the end of 2011. However, I will have to put a rider on that. I guarantee my commitment until 2011 if we play finals in 2010. If we do not, I cannot guarantee me sticking around. I don't see any reason for me to leave, and I think we will make it next year, but I need to keep the options open. I have not been approached by anyone from the bombers though, so that is garbage. In fact, I haven't been approached by any team.

Ever since I had the argument with Doggies I thought so. I certainly think we are the most active in terms of posting. However, I have to give Doggies an apology. Fact is, the bombers are all class. They have a large host of stars and are on another recruiting drive I hear. They certainly have some quality posters.
Were the Demons close to securing EFL boy for next year?
I am not sure. I was in indirect contact with EFL, but it has now become apparent that both EFL and Tim_saints will NOT be at the Demons next year.
