In fairness to Seany, he did buy the ice breaker from xur only a couple of weeks before he had Suros. That's back in the days when most only had one character and strange coins were a scarce commodity. I definitely couldn't afford what he had every week, hence why I missed out on Red Death, Gjallarhorn, Ice Breaker etc.

I wasn't really complaining the first part of the post was tongue in cheek, I can get by without those guns but it'd be nice to get Suros/Thunderlord eventually particularly Suros for PVP.

I just think based on the rng system it's more likely to get one of those from the raids/nightfall than buying it from Xur, I regret not having enough coins to pick up Suros both times but not overly fussed about red death.

Those three guns collectively have been sold something like nine times in the past thirteen weeks though. Xur's variety with weapons has been shocking of late and I think it's fair to complain about it.

Plan C has only been offered 3 times in totality and one of those was the first time he offered it so it was a source of excitement at the time. I cut it off after the DLC dropped and because everyone knows he double dropped it once in a fortnight.

Regardless. Xur is going to be repeat offering weapons almost every week from here on out. There are 24 Exotic weapons in the game in total

3x are PS Exclusive so won't be in the pool until September.
2x are Raid Exclusive (Vex/Necro).
5x are Bounty Exclusives (Thorn, Invective, Bad Juju, Pocket Infinity & SGA).

So that brings the pool down to 14 Exotics right there. Right now we are up to the 24th week of Xur. He has offered 11 of those Exotics at least once with only Thunderlord, Hard Light & Universal Remote yet to be tabled by Xur himself.

Now lets be honest, how many of you won't complain when you turn up on Friday and see Hard Light or Universal Remote sitting there in his inventory?

Exactly. Everyone just whinges about Xur now because people need such a small pool of Exotics, everyone needs different weapons so he's going to do nothing but disappoint people.

I mean this week you all got the Heavy Packs & Exotic Engrams you had been wanting but you still call him a campaigner.

We're at a point at the end game where if he's got one thing you need then it's probably a good week for you. But people are still expecting the weeks where they can clear him out.

You're missing the point. I very rarely complain about Xur's offerings when he shows up as it's very unlikely he offers something I need - I realise that and don't mind when he offers something I already have. I need something like four exotic weapons and only one of them is handed out by Xur (if it's true that Gjallar has been taken out of the pool). I get it. I don't care if he doesn't offer the one I need as long as he's showing some variety. But he's not, and that's what I'm pissed off about. Look at this:
Week 12: Plan C
Week 13: Plan C
Week 14: Truth
Week 15: Patience and Time
Week 16: No Land Beyond
Week 17: Dragon's Breath
Week 18: The Last Word
Week 19: Ice Breaker
Week 20: No Land Beyond
Week 21: Dragon's Breath
Week 22: Plan C
Week 23: Ice Breaker
Week 24: No Land Beyond
Eight of the last thirteen weeks have featured Plan C, No Land Beyond or Dragon's Breath. There are fourteen weapons in the pool, as you've said yourself - there's no reason at all for this kind of repetitiveness. 21.4% of the pool has been offered over 30% of the time over 24 weeks, and over 61% of the time in the past 13. I don't give a shit what he offers - give us SUROS, give us Truth, give us Red Death - the variability is shocking and is what I don't like about it. I may be in the minority but if he tables Hard Light or Universal Remote I'll be slightly disappointed that it isn't MIDA (which I think is more than fair - everybody feels disappointed when an exotic pops that isn't one of the ones they need), but I'm not going to whine and complain. Just show us something different FFS.

You're confusing me not arguing the point about the Dragon's Breath/NLB with some sort of notion I'm disagreeing with you.

NLB/DB is purely about peddling the DLC. It is the same reason we have had Omnigul on something approaching a 3 week rotation. I don't like it and I have no reason to argue that point because I agree. It was the 'Plan C has been offered a billion times' complaint that was annoying me. When it had been offered 2 times people were saying 3, now that it is 3 people are saying 4 or more. It had been 9 weeks in between the 2nd time Plan C is sold and the third offering. The entire issue for mine is that post DLC that DLC Exotics are making up 50% of his offerings. That is the issue that needs to be corrected.

But when you look at the 11 weapons offered. None of them have been offered more than 3 times and only 2 of them have been offered once which were MIDA & Gjalla. I'm 90% sure that one of those has been taken out of the prize pool.

Things I hate about IB (and general pvp for that matter) in no particular order:

- Unbalanced maps where your spawn 9 times out of 10 detetmines the winner
- lack of variety of maps
- lack of variety of game modes
- Lag and not only enemy lag but my own, like when I blade dance one bloke 3 times and then he just punches me once, I die apparently... like really
- the absolute shit rewards for doing well for your team and not just highest k:d but in general the rewards are ****ing terrible
- I know we do it to people so I cant really complain too much about this but putting individuals against fireteams of 6... yeah really fair. (Makes it even better in IB when you vs that team of 6 with a 26 and 27 on your team.....)
- lag


Some of these are easy fixes that they continue to do nothing about. Others are just me whinging because **** PVP
