I'm going to get into it. I don't really want or need much tbh, I mean, I think Jolders Hammer would be cool if you can get a field scout role. I don't need the shotty or the RL. But I like the tournament feel and the added incentive to PvP, so I'd be keen to join any fireteams playing

Why does this game insist on picking the same maps in a row multiple times in crucible? If you're gonna have maps that you can count on one hand don't make it random selection Bungie.

Did it take you long to grind to level 5? I just want to get to 4 for the titan chest piece.

Time wise, not really long. I got it on the last day, but you can get most of your volume in the last few days and with bounties, the shader, emblem, class item and the buff you rack up rep really quickly on those last couple of days.

Nice. It seems the raid is screwing me out of the chest piece so I'll earn it through the iron banner. Not to mention the arnour and shaders look amazing.

yeah sorry, too late, it's a one time thing. If you have level 5 from the last IB you can sit in orbit as the reset hits, wait a few minutes to flush out stale tower incidences, then change one random piece of armour to beat the "tower unavailable" message, fly in, and with any luck the IB doors are open. You strut up to Saladin with your wallet prestocked full of glimmer and you still have your rank from last time. Hence you buy what you want and exit and once you exit or change characters or do anything your rank resets.

yeah it's not hard. I'm a so/so player, and I hit level 5 last time with a day and a half to spare. I didn't grind too much really, just a few night time games really, and there were some bounties I didn't even try to do.

Yep. I've played about 10. I've jumped into games near the end about 4 times though. 3 bounties done and about a quarter of the way to level 2. Not too bad.

Why bother with iron banner? I just get the armour from crota and I already have a ton of legendary weapons I never use.

I don't see the appeal.

I don't have the chest armour from crota. Soooo I can get it from the iron banner. Sooooo I can get to 32 through iron banner quicker than the raid.

1. Some people can't get the armour from the raid. I never had an issue and got it all quickly but it can happen.

2. You don't need radiant mats to max it out, only ascendent. So that's a big attraction.

3. Some people like having aesthetic variety whilst still being top level

4. PvP is fun for a lot of people, and IB is better than normal due to small level differences, and the tournament feel, where wins actually mean something

5. The weapons are generally really good, and even better because you can reforge them to get a particular god roll. For example, I have a 331 legendary arc rocket launcher with tracking. I bet any money you don't. I call it Omnigul's Bane
