Sorry man, internet is playing up.

Will stop downloading other stuff in the background, lol.

If I keep DC'ing, just drop me and do your own thing :thumbsu:
Just tell me when you're ready and we'll go again. Will start another party, but can't talk much.

Just finished the main story. And whilst satisfying, I gotta say that has to be one of the most pathetic rewards for finishing a game ever. Seriously?
When fully upgraded it's a pretty decent reward and will tide you over until you get better gear down the track.

It's not really the end it's just the end of the single player story.

Maybe you should try Diablo 3 o_O

I love Diablo 3. I'm doing Torment difficulties now, and the drops are amazing. I'm not saying I would like Destiny's drops to be like Diablo's, but the continuous grinding for not much return is at the wrong end of the scale for mine.

For people struggling with finding legendary/rare/exotic loot, jump into The Crucible (MP); you get a much bigger chance of getting loot after 10 minutes of runnign and gunning than you do in a 2 hours strike mission. I played 5 Control matches yesterday and received my 1st Exotic. A couple games later I received my first Legendary. Trust me, Crucible is the way to go for loot.

Agreed even if you suck you can still get a bit in the Crucible

In Diablo 3 you're still at the mercy of the stat rolls though. The trade off for more drops is less likely to get an upgrade. I have no issue with Destiny legendary engrams trolling with giving rares or upgrade materials but the engram drop rates themself are crap. Up the drop rate even if it means slightly dropping legendary conversion rate. At least give me chance. I have been playing as long as anyone who has been keen into it since launch and have only had one legendary engram drop and it was a rare warlock bond. Even increase the chance they will turn into coins so we can at least buy something with them eventually.

How is everyone going for weapons? I'm halfway through vanguard level 2, up to 109 marks and wondering if it's better to just keep going for a weapon. I am using a level 19 gun and struggling to find rare level 20 primary weapon engrams. Level 24 and still doing the equivalent of throwing popcorn.

Like I said, do multiplayer. Doesn't take long to get Crucible levels up too. I got an Exotic auto-rifle after just a handful of matches. Otherwise, grind Strikes and just buy them off tyhe Vanguard. The other thing is I have heard Bungie are going to DECREASE drop rates in certain areas, which I find baffling tbh.

Nar, i've played over 20 hours and only got the one legendary from there, in fact from the time I was playing there I was able to buy 3 legendaries.

I reckon you just got extremely lucky. I've played a good 60+ crucible matches and haven't got any legendary or exotics yet, have had much better luck with engrams I find or rewarded for leveling the cryptarch.

I find that hard to believe, especially the 20 hours thing; in every match, whether you win or lose, at least 2, max 5 people get something in Crucible. Whether it's blue or purple engram, it doesn't really matter, what matters is your Cryptarch level rank.

All I get is blue, got enough god damn material from scrpaing the crap I got from them, my friends also had terrible luck with getting lengendaries, he's had 2 purple engrams from the crucible but got nothing from them.
