Thinking of just joining the cruicble and leave my character there as the game restarts when it ends.

That way I can get cruicble points and not play it, yes I really hate it

Please don't do that. There is enough ordinary players playing without adding another.
 
So I've been bemoaning the fact that I can't play while I'm overseas on a tropical holiday - only level 11 when I left. However, I've an 18 year old lad house sitting for me. I showed him the PS4 and told him to fill his boots. In one week he's now got me up to level 18 and counting, and I've still a week to go.

I've outsourced my grinding - winrar!!! :)
 
Next weeks patch.

Cryptarch Changes 

Cayde-6 took the Cryptarch aside and showed him a sack of doorknobs. He decoded that mystery pretty quickly.

- Legendary Engrams will always produce Legendary or better quality items, including Materials or Exotics
- Rare Engrams will always produce Rare or better quality items
- Rare engrams will have an increased chance to produce Legendary quality items


Activity Changes

- Daily Heroics, Weekly Heroics, and Vanguard: Tiger Playlist activities will include Rare and Legendary Engrams in addition to their existing rewards


Item Changes

- Ascendant materials have been promoted to Legendary to closer associate them with the gear they are used to upgrade
- Legendary Engram items that exist in your inventory will be demoted to Rare quality when the patch goes live, so decode them while you can. But let’s be honest--even if you don’t, we all know they were blues already...
 
I might have to seriously just hold on to any purple engrams I get now, I thought about doing it with the purple I found last night but thought nah I'll have a crack - shit blue booties.

I wonder when the patch will be released

You can sit there for hours and get nothing or minutes and get a gold mine - it's completely random.

I sat there for an hour and all I got was green engrams and another time landed a legendary after about 10 minutes.

I don't know if he tried it but it would only work once or twice. He would get booted for inactivity after a while.

The PvP is fine. Just play Control which is objective based and you can contribute even if you're struggling to get kills.
