True. I have my favourites too.

A lot of my exotics have been re-Xurbished and need to be levelled but I am not rushing into that except for the GHorn - will get around to The Last Word, Plan C, Mida etc and keen to upgrade/play with some of the newer exotics that have come into my posession and have scored quite a bit of exotic armour I would like to upgrade but I'm not as passionate about it as I was.

I can see myself getting back into GTA V and playing Shadows of Mordor and FC 4 - all of which have been sorely neglected for Destiny.
 
I get it. I just got Diablo just because it was cheap. A nice little break from destiny. They have some elements that destiny could steal.

Re the main weapon. My favorite is the scout rifle so I use it all the time. I do fairly well In crucible with it, a lot better than I would with a handcannon since I'm used to it. I was just lucky enough to get the VOG scout.

Won't quote your post Silverscope in the interest of saving space lol but agree with you 100% on pretty much every point. Have been thinking along the same lines a lot recently.
Reckon I'll mostly just be playing earlier in the reset week while everyone is doing Nightfalls etc & whenever there are raid places going from now on. Everything else is a genuine waste of time really so pretty content to let it all slide tbh.
 
I agree with most of it. Although I think another factor is that we're now into the 4th straight month of playing almost daily. The Burnout factor was always coming, the DLC has pushed it back a few weeks for myself.

On the Armour leveling, I agree with all of it bar the bungie pre upgrading raid gear pre DLC idea. Bungie is essentially just handing out level 31 then and it isn't necessarily better than what it is now. But the point has been made many times how it should have been vanguard gear < VOG gear < crota gear.

I also think it is bit rich to complain about the lower difficulty when it has taken this long to beat the end legit. But I do agree with the notion that simply ensuring that you are under leveled at the start was a little cheap. But most of the game is cheap by now.

I'm at the point where I'm nearly just in for raids + VOG + weeklies and that's it. Most of that will be knocked out on a Tuesday each week now until hard mode is unlocked. I'm also semi interested in the idea of a flawless raider attempt because it's the only trophy I have left and after putting in this much time in I'd like to platinum the bloody thing.

Yeah just on this, in Destiny's defense admittedly it is the first game in a very long time that has grabbed me to the point I almost felt like I 'needed' to play it daily for such an extended period of time. That factor certainly can't be left out.

Very addictive game and if something can coerce you into killing enough time on it that it can sometimes drive a wedge between you & your loved ones it definitely deserves mad kudos for that at least haha
 
+1 for the 'tired' chorus. Think it would go for most regulars of Destiny now.

I haven't glimmer farmed to the level of most, but totally ignoring the need for shards to upgrade raid gear, levelling up my alts 33 legendary gear looks soul destroying. Wanted to get my alts to 31 as well as my derp hunter but the hadronic essence (if nothing drops in raids) required to get Warlock from 28 to 31 seems a lifetime away. Will probably leave the Warlock as is.

Glad I left Titan till last, which for me clearly is the most enjoyabable esp with both subclasses [/Cpt. Obvious]

Besides RNGesus will probably gift it to me anyway [emoji14]

Did my first Crota's End properly on my hunter - was great to see the big guy go down.

RNGesus continues to smile on me this week too. Helmet, boots and the MG.

If you want to do it after the reset, let me know. I've not done the whole raid, have only joined in on a couple of cheeses of the first few sections. Would love to give a go
 
Was a bit of an RNathiest but starting to believe in RNGesus (or that he at least was born & existed a long time ago)
First Rich leaves & then is showered in rewards for coming back. Then I post I'm losing my motivation for Destiny & get 3 legendary engrams & Monte Carlo from 5 Roc Strikes.
Scope, get on now. He's always watching, even in this thread. You should get that Icebreaker you want after what you posted.

Has anyone had problems in the past on Optus Internet with weasel errors? I'm house sitting for the week and am having hell. Managed to get my NAT to open on my xbone (I think it's referred to as something different on ps4) but still cannot get past these weasel errors booting me out. If anyone can help I will send you my Monte Carlo and hawk moon ... :p

I'd love to. I'll try and convince Ev1lroy66 (he hasn't completed CE either) to join in as well.

I got on this afternoon to do the nightfall so I hit reddit fireteams and teamed up with a couple of Americans and we waltzed through it. They were looking to do the CE raid properly, one of them had only bought the DLC yesterday and he hadn't been through the raid at all.

We grabbed a couple more and one of their mates. One of the guys we picked up was a real dick head (smartarse American), he had the CE checkpoint and wanted to cheese it. It wasn't what we really wanted but we agreed, the guy reckoned it would take 5 minutes.

After mucking around for about 20 minutes and getting nowhere the guys I did the nightfall with kicked they dickhead and his mate from the party chat and fireteam and we went into orbit to find a couple more. One of their mates joined and we picked up this awesome level 32 guy - an Aussie with a one man clan. He'd run CE 7 times already today - he basically guided us through to absolutely wreck the raid. Only one wipe through the whole thing, was epic. The rewards were just an added bonus.

I've sent this raid god a friend request hopefully he will accept and be around to play with in the future - would be great to have him along tomorrow along with a couple of the more experienced BigFooty crew.
