I thought it was pretty strange to see both of crest of alpha lupi & helm of inmost light for sale & upgrade, his stock may be rng based but ideally it would be good to see at least one of helm engrams, mask of the third man or red death/Suros etc during this lull period of content for those needing equipment to help with CE hard mode.

As for heavy synths I still have a few but it's more annoying for a few others in our group who've got none & have to glimmer farm a ridiculous amount just for a handful of expensive heavy packs from the gun smith, you'd probably be better off farming black wax idols & buy them from Eris.

Don't think Red Death nor Suros are that useful in HM anyway, just not worth the damage decrease for heath regen. The raid helmet with orbs of light trigger heath regen is what everyone should be chasing. Got one for my titan and warlock, still chasing a Hunter one with that roll.

Yeah you're probably right was just hoping MOTTM or helm engrams were on sale as it would've helped Scope out as our swordbearer, I've got one & found I didn't have many issues regaining health. As for the raid helmets my hunter/warlock helms are good super regen ones but the Titan one unfortunately is grenade cooldown lol.

Pretty sure Lukas uses the extra golden gun shot helmet on his bladedancer hunter as the sword bearer. But then again, he is batshit insane.
 
I don't run Red Death anymore on hard anymore. I run the following set up with basically all 3 classes.

Fang of Ir Yut
Black Hammer
Gjalla

Any of Insurmountable Skullfort/Light Beyond Nemesis/Mask of the Third Man for the orb regen perk

Throw in individual perks to get heal back (Blessing of Light/Energy Drain/Hungering Blade) and you can set yourself up with multiple avenues for health recovery.

I haven't had to run sword on Crota hard yet so I may revert to Red Death combined with Hunger of Crota if I need it.

That's because his MotTM helm is on a 30 light level version and he hasn't got the 36 version :drunk:

You don't really need heavy synth for crota anymore, the heavy ammo glitch is perfect. You can waste rockets into the swordbearer like there is no tomorrow. You really only need it for the bridge if you aren't cheesing it, the shriekers if you want the chest and for the deathsingers section and there is a chance you'll have heavy lying around.

I only pop heavy for Crota when we're midway through a good run. You can make it elsewhere without it, you don't need rockets until ogres on the bridge so should be full by then. Aside from that Black Hammer is normally serviceable enough until you need that DPS on Crota himself.

The heavy ammo glitch will spawn you with six heavy (hunger) or seven (ghorn) which is enough for 2x swordbearer and 2x for each crota down, leaving 2-3 in reserve. Then when crota moves you simply go back inside and restock with 2 of the 20 purples laying there. Is GOAT and requires no synth.

Yeah even though I couldn't get drops from Atheon it's times like that i'm glad I decided to jump on to give others a hand.

Rich finally getting Vex & Tim who didn't have Vex or Atheons Epilogue getting both in one hit was pretty awesome, well done guys was good to hear the excitement in the party chat from both of them lol.
