Although there was one time where we were playing minigolf at the hotel we were staying at in QLD... (Just a few holes with some obstacles) And she beat me (with me helping her put of course)

The second time we played (i helped her 2/3 of the time) I beat her by only 1...

1.1.1 update will contain

Weekly Heroic will now have matchmaking (no matchmaking for nightfall)
Xur will permanently have exotic engrams
Strike playlist will have better randomised strikes (not doing the same one 3 times in a row etc.)

Matchmaking will be a massive flop. People afk during regular strikes. Now you can AFK for better rewards.

still a good change though IMO. If you prefer to do it as you usually would with your mates in a fireteam you can. But you can also run it when everyone is sick of running that strike if you want to.

Unless you like to solo it, but even then, you kind of are with some dickhead AFKers. It's not like a nightfall where they get the Gjallorhorn and you get energies. You'll all get the same 9 coins.

I'd rather solo it and get blues than carry randoms and watch them get Legendaries.

maybe, I rarely get more than coins as a reward, if ever.

I don't see it as being too big a deal anyway. I'd prefer to be able to join some randoms who may potentially AFK than be have to solo it frankly. By that time I've done it a few times with nightfalls and there's usually no burn on weekly

Think we've talked about it earlier in the thread tupps, but yeah like Lance said, you can still do both. I really struggled to be on the same time as you fellas and another non BF crew, so im happy with the update.

On a totally unrelated note, been thinking for a while how an alternative reward system would work in Destiny other than RNG? (sure reid jnr would be dead set against it ) crafting system would be more of a grind, and kill count might encourage others to deviate and take away from the enjoyment of a strike? (clearly no issue in Crucible of course) Not sure how they would do it? Maybe a weighted system where damage inflicted on level boss maybe? (problematic with swordbearer on Crota)
