the news i hear from my next door neighbours aunt's sister's masseur who plays tennis smoking cigars is that the councils except whittlesea all want to have the footy season go ahead. footy Vic also want the season to go ahead and the insurance companies want the season to go ahead. So what is the stumbling block?
Seems the councils are waiting to see what happens to with the state government and stage 4 restrictions so no matter what decision that they make they can blame someone else for the current situation. I wish our councils would have the balls to say sport is an important part of the social structure of the community and in particular football with its participation rates not only for the kids and seniors that play, but for the crowds the games generate is a vital cog in the community and should be played at all costs. Even if it means carting in water to make sure our grounds are playable.
I mean where is council sticking its head in regards to this one?

i guess all the DV footballers are weak c u n t s seeing as though they have put the start of the season off til may
can't any of you guys hack the hard grounds, oooh it is toooo hard and i can't play i might hurt myself
i see chopsewie is now chasing more cash and moved to diamond creek couldn't the colts afford to keep you soon you will have more clubs than most people have hot cooked dinners

How about everyone stops the crap that is going on here and talk about footy.Heard that the league is holding a meeting next week and that is where clubs will be advised of what date the season will commence, looks likly to be 5th May same as many other leagues.

Take your own advice

Hey Guys,

Do you think the new administration had enough common scence to have the locks changed at DVFL House, not as though Floyide might have a spare set or two or three, and not as though he is not a top trustworthy bloke, HAHA

Just wondering

Courtesty of the DVFLUA,

Find it amusing

New Football Socks - $15

Brand new Sherrin Football - $100

Floydys gambling addiction - $21,000

The look on Floydys face when he saw the auditor's number come up on caller ID - Priceless

There are some things money cant buy, for everything else, theres Floydy.

Just shows how smart you are goose you would'nt know where ive played. Im from the valley and thats were i will always play. I had a deal with the colts to finish off the year and help them win a flag. I fulfilled my commitment and are still very good mates with all the boys so get back to divi 2 braybrook as for the boys being soft you are kidding yourself foxy this league has some of the most hardest players running around its not up to the players you moron.

Check this out:

http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?c=1-3913-0-0-0&sID=41958

DV moving to sporting pulse as it's internet provider, there is not much there at the moment, but the WRFL use them and their site looks ok -

Think it can probably only be an improvement.

Thanks J&b, I like it better already! This option will be good :

"Do you want to receive email reminders telling you when your next game is on or when your results have been updated? Click here to register"

It really isn't hard to beat the old one.

Recently spoke with the President of a club in the western Region League and he indicated that their local council has left it up to them if they choose to play or not this season. This dude preferred that the season did not go ahead but advised that the WRFL were wiping their hands of the decision. If this is the case, the WRFL are going to get a huge influx of players after the DVFL announce this year's season over!!

Is it right that no club is allowed to train on their ground - if so where do they train then

G'day mate,
At the moment some clubs can train on their own grounds, but other clubs have to train on park lands, athletics tracks, school ovals and tennis courts.
Unless we get some decent rain soon there may not even be a dvfl footy season, which would be an absolute shame because our comp. must start and go forward and it can't do that if theres no footy!!!

P.S
How are you travelling?

May I ask why, played mostly off the bench in a middle of the range 2nd division reserves side last year.

Good cricketer though :D

Glen Lehner has put in a transfer to go to my local team Kangaroo Flat in the Bendigo Football League. Can you give me a bit of a description like how old he is, how tall, what position he plays etc.

Thanks :thumbsu:
