It looked like he was gnawing at Gazza's head...lol. Then when he got up Gaz was feeling the side of his head and checking for blood. Of course, Channel 7 didnt mention at at all, Denis was probably too busy thinking of his next hilarious line...

cant remember, just remember they gangtackled Gaz and took him to the ground. They showed one replay but didnt comment on it.
 
Not sure, but he was definately digging his claws into Ablett just under his chin and bottom of cheek trying to scratch him.

That Taylor is a joke!!! what was with him last night? He is a serious spud.


My prediction is he will be on no AFL list this time next year

Possibly.

he's turned into a bit of a ********...maybe trying too hard (to do what, I don't know) after being dropped for the GF last year
 
He didnt bite him. he clawed at Abletts face though. Replays showed it looked close to the eyes. It wsant an accident though, he meant it. Will prob get a week for it one would suspect.

I thought a more severe punishment for the Hawks would be forcing them to play him in the seniors for the next few weeks. Spud of the highest order.

It was around the chin heading towards the eyes, Gaz pulled his hand away and got up rubbing his face, would love to see the left side of his face today

Yep, quite possibly the worst 'frontline' ruckman in the game.

The guy is horrible at centre bounces, is useless around the ground and struggles to even hold the ball properly.

The wannabe tough guy routine is obviously his attempt at proving useful to his club, but as with every other facet of the game, he comes up short.
 
Oh yeah I remember, in that big gang tackle he got bored and basically started yanking Gaz's head. In rugby that is a BIG no no.

Yeah. Watched him a bit last night continuously trying to have an influence... by taking/holding down players.

Also (not that it bothers me that much) seemed to grab Ottens a bit and hawthorn would send a third man up.

Problem is though a few times the ump called Renouf - Taylor and visa versa so who knows what they think happened. lol
 
I think Ottens only got one free all night for being held in the ruck contest despite it happening all night. He was also held down for another hawk to come in and take it a few times. One for the umps to work on...
On the bite, didn't see that but it got very close to an eye gouge. Taylor was trying for it but Gaz got out of the gang tackle in time. Doubt he'll get reported for it but Gaz will have some explaining to do when he gets home to Lauren Phillips.

taylor is a thug just another bryan. not always a bad thing for a team providing they can still play footy. good to see mooney stop getting suspended every 2nd week LOL
 
Definitely an attempted eye gouge.. Lucky Ablett grabbed Taylor's hand to pull it away. You could clearly see the intent on the replay.

Exactly. Commeti's commentary is becoming more and more tiresome. He wishes he was Letterman, but he's forgotten he's a sports commentator

To use a line from Christian Bale: "It's ****ing DISTRACTING!!!!"

Back to the point, Taylor needs to be suspended. He deliberately put his knee into Selwood's head and he performed the type of manouevre on Ablett that had Cameron Smith suspended from the NRL Grand Final (the dreaded Grapple Tackle). He has to go for a few weeks, surely!

It was definitely a deliberate rake of the face. He went from grabbing Jnr's chin to clawing up about the cheek.

Most likely nothing will happen about it, not in the press. I'm unsure if he was charged after the game. I'm wondering why they'd miss such a thing as that would be one glaring action that the umpires would need to take from the game. Physical things do happen, but to do that in and under a pack is not needed in our game.
