You didnt answer the question....would you have him in your team??? btw...Simpson? great game...but Didak was the game breaker for mine (:thumbsu:
Didak wasn't the game breaker for football prowess though. He was the game breaker by getting Carlton players fired up and being a smart arse. BOG is all about football feats IMO. The hype will always get him 3 votes though. Simmo was all about footy yesterday, pure class.

As for your question, if someone was genuinely a chance of coming to Carlton, bygones are bygones and I embrace them. Right now, my reaction is that I don't want the feral ****er ... but then that is just me.

no its not trust me... i think i speak for all supporters/ people that dont barrack for collingwood that the feral ****er isnt welcome at their respective clubs!

The AFL is a ****en joke. How the hell did that little bastard get off, while Bannister is offered 1 week because of his clean record. WHAT A JOKE.

Here are some quotes from the AFL Website.

The panel said Scotland attempted to avoid contact but "unfortunately contact was made to his head."

Despite the high contact, Didak's action was viewed as a legitimate attempt to bump, therefore the contact to the head was considered accidental and the action was not considered to be a reportable offence," the panel concluded

What I'd like to know is how much Collingwood paid the umpires yesterday and how much they paid the match review panel today?!! WHAT A JOKE!

HE! HE! HE! HA! HA! HA!

I agree he wasnt best on ground. Swan and his 33 possies was better. Still 28 possies is nothing to sneeze at.

Depends on how you earn them. The Bowden Brothers are likely to get 100 between them one day. But it doesn't count when you stand on your own kicking it to each other.
Too many soft touches (especially after the middle of Q2 - funny that - did'nt want to go in for a hard pill, guilty conscience?)
Simpson had more meaningful disposal, as did Swan.

Funny, I thought Swan had a fair amount of easy clean-up ball from half back. Simpsons possesions were all class as were Didak's.

Pfft, You are the biggest bunch of sore losers ever. Umpires screw every bloody team every week. The fact that you will take this to the grave is unbelievable.

I suggest you read the rule book. If you make contact to the head, and the umpire sees it, a free kick will take place where the ball is. That happened twice yesterday for the Pies. If a player is awarded a free kick, and an opposition player does enough to make the umpire award a 50m penalty for 'time wasting' (ie. kicking the ball away after a free kick is paid), then there is a result.

In all seriousness, if Carlton got the roll of goals instead of us, I would simply accept it, despite obviously shouting out 'maggot' etc. Why? Because I know the rules and laws of the great sport. I wouldn't be coming on the forums posting that the umpires cost us, I would be pi$$ed off at how stupid my club was in not staying with the game. Carlton flew the flag for Heath, but then stupidity settled in and they went, a somewhat 'too far' with it, and Collingwood were sensible enough to a)abide by the rules, b)continue to play the game, and c)be smart enough to intimidate a player who is flying the flag.

IN conclusion, don't have a go at the maggots, anybody can do that. Have a go at the players who play for the club you support and tell them to get their act into gear, rather than not getting on with the game due to intimidating twirps such as Didak and Holland.

I really enjoy this guys rambling incoherent monologues. Note the insecurities – perhaps related to the Pies aging list and lack of leg speed that we exploited nicely in the 2nd quarter before the Goldspink 4 goal free kick burst. At least he didn’t tell us again how he’s the most respected poster on BF. Huge laughs. :)

I am not living in denial parrot. I know the fact that Collingwood has an aging list and that our midfield is dead slow, however I do see us still looming a possibility of making top 4 this season with our 'negatives' that make you have a field day on the forum. Then again, the 'best set of youngsters' side being your mob, according to yourself, are going to finish dead last for the second consecutive season, and the fourth time in five years in the bottom two, so your calls seem pretty pointless. Maybe you guys can recruit some older, experienced players and set your goals on finals with experience rather than look for the future which hasn't been close to looking good.

Sore loser? Not at all. Simply speaking my mind. Didak should have at least got 2 weeks. Carlton are robbed every week by the umpires and I disagree that Collingwood got screwed by the umpires on the weekend. I think they were looked after well if ever I have witnessed a team being looked after before!

Reading the rule book won't do me or anybody else any good because they are that inconsistent it doesn't matter! As you mentioned, the umpire needs to see it and to me, it seems they turn a blind eye everytime one of our blokes is being held, pushed in the back, high tackled, arms chopped, etc. Would you like me to keep going?

As mentioned by another poster, right before those ridiculous free kicks were given to you guys, Presti clearly had his arm over Fev's shoulder which, any day of the week, would have been paid a free kick. That would have put Carlton 27 points up with all of the momentum! You guys couldn't get near us at that stage!!!! But of course not! And why? Because Fev is in a Carlton jumper! This has happened all year to us and it's about time something is done!

Bannister should have broken Holland's jaw (whining sook!) and really given them something to sook about. If the "incidents" had have happened up the other end of the ground and not infront of the Collingwood cheersquad, the umpire would have just told the players to get their sh*t together and played on.

Getting back to my earlier rant regarding Didak. There is no doubt in anybodys mind that he should have at least been suspended for 2 weeks. To call it accidental contact is the biggest load of sh*t I have ever heard and it's a disgrace!

Our future is looking far better than yours! If you guys want to make the same mistake as we did a few years ago and recruit ageing players to get absolutely nowhere then by all means, be my guest!

What a dirty cheating excuse for a human being.

Smashed Scotland and will go for a row for that one... deliberate and with malicious intent. He went in with his shoulder low and after the initial contact raised his elbow.

One that he will possibly get away with, is the headbutt on Lance that caused Red to throw him to the ground and give away that second goal.

But then again... Didak proudly wears a collingwood jumper... a team well renowned for being a bunch of dirty cheating scum.

Holland will also go for the initial punch that let to Bannister clocking him... pity Bannister didnt do a decent job and break the cheats jaw while he was at it.

If you do something that is going to get you reported on trial by video... make certain that their player is going to be out for at least as long as you are.

Dirty cheating scum isn't that like kettle calling the pot black. Please hand back the 87,95 premiership cups to their rightful owners you pack of cheats.

Smacks of desperation...

You might think it's exaggerated but if you have a look over the course of the year, my quote speaks for itself!

I believe the saying is "the pot calling the kettle black." But really, shouldn't expect anything more from a dingbat!

I guess it comes down to what you call success. Seems that you call success, making the finals with a straight sets exit. Carlton defines success as winning flags, and everything else is failure – period. So, the aim is to develop a list that will win flags, and while our lowly finish is disappointing, our younger player group is miles ahead of what the Pies have talent wise. The idea is to create a list with the talent to win flags, rather than make up the numbers to appease the supporters. That’s why I think the Pies are falling into the same trap as the Dons have with their 2003-2006 top-up policy focussing on older players for short term gain, at the expense of longer term list development.. The Pies problems of course began after their terrible list management post those GF losses. I view the Pies surprisingly good 2006 performances as a temporary blip in a solid downward trend. Scratch the surface, and the good old 2005-style Collingwood reappears as we’ve seen on several occasions recently. :)

Parrot agree with you on the point about we at Carlton only see a premiership as a sign of success.

You see we can't blame C'wood for viewing making finals a sign of success, for in the last 50 years they've only tasted real success once.

The only problem now with us Carlton supporters if we make finals in the a year or two we will be joyous and see that as success too :(... but hopefully we'll revert soon back to the good ole times.

Gee, imagine if I posted something like that about Collingwood on the Collingwood board. I suspect I'd get 30+ PM's and some more angry emails from Groves and other pro Collingwood mods. I'm all for free speech, and I respect this guys right for his opinion, but just find the double standards curious and a little humorous. Oh well. :)

About time match review panel got something right!!!

Didak laid a hip and shoulder, got him high... big whoop, pay the free kick and get on with it!!!

I am certainly not a Collingwood fan, but I am an Australian Rules Football fan and long live the hip n Shoulder!!!!!!

Since when does a raised elbow constitute a hip and shoulder?

But then again your lot stood and applauded Milburn after his "hip and shoulder" on Silvagni!

You are either a Collingwood troll pretending to be a handbagger supporter or just a moron ..either way we don't care what you think so Feck off back to your own team board .
The same goes for all these feral pies supporters who are coming onto our board trolling ...where are our mods ...half these spackers should be banned ????

Has anyone on this board actually ever played footy?? There's 2 photos posted, one showing Didak with arm tucked in at point of contact... another with the chicken wing out after contact. If anyone has layed a bump they would know that the arm stays in, and as a natural movement extends after contact to regain balance after absorbign the initial contact. There is no way on earth that contact was made with an elbow to the head.

IMO, the bump was not worthy of suspension. Free kick for the incidental high contact and get on with the game.
