I was watching Didak very closely tonight and he looks unfit. What are your thoughts?? Do you think he looks unfit or he just simply can't run?

He just really seemed slow for some reason. I don't know if it was because of the speed of his various opponents or what, he just looked to be lagging.

He wasn't very accurate either by his standards, missing at least two very gettable Didak goals....

I'm sure he'll be back to his spectacular self by round 1.

Just had a bad game like most of the team,When teams get pumped like we did tonight a lot of players look slow, unfit, poor kick, lazy etc, well bounce back wouldnt worry too much at this stage.

Its what happens at Collingwood. Once we start losing by 20 points we tend to just...give up. We need to be able to keep up the intensity and pressure throughout the whole game.

I have always thought didak to be on the softer side, not lonie soft but soft...
He can get away with it with his flashy moves and when there are others winning the ball but when the chips are down they are really down....

Is not as good a player as a midfielder, he has more impact as a HFF roving the CHF/FF and setting up play.
Ever since he went into the middle his kicking has dropped off big time, and we have lacked crumbers when going forward, generally the opposition crumb and rebound Dids and Davis use to lock it in if they didn't rove the packs and get a couple goals from it.

JA, Cloke, Dawes, Rocca, Medhurst, Reid, Rusling, Macaffer all get majority of their goals on the lead.
Where are the smalls at their feet crumbing the goals and keeping their opponents honest?

Lockyer goes forward on occasion again he gets shots from marks more then crumbs, Swan the same.

Need Didak, Davis (when resting forward) and Dick, Bennell (if given a game) to get dangerous near goal.

Yep, we lose a game and we start to stick the boots in.
He'll be OK when the real stuff starts.
Yes, I understand the point. He did look sort of slow, but he always has been. No need to panic.
If Last nigh was the real Grand Final, I would not be happy. But since it was NAB Cup, who cares.
I did not lose too much sleep over it last night.

You bring up a good point.

My immediate response would be that it's very hard, if not impossible, to rove when most kicks into the 50 land withing a few metres of the bounday. Not much point being front-and-square there - if it's spoilt it's going out of bounds.
