Great win tonight. Only disappointment was the way Dids carried on during the singing of the song.

I don't think these players realise how lucky they are to play for a club like Collingwood, and how it can all be taken away because of injury etc. I dunno whether he's taking wins for granted or not, but for me, to not even care about it - it's not good enough.

And people might say they're tired, whatever. Could be a range of excuses, but it's 30 seconds of your life after a game and it's being televised to every other Pie supporter.

Show a bit of passion.

I will forgive Dids for any way he behaved during the song.

He was nothing short of brilliant tonight, despite the absolute shitty dirty, illegal tactics by the likes of McIntosh (knees) and Rawlings (pushed head into ground).

Dids would have been ecstatic with tonight's win, he is a different "cat" to some others.

I understand your frustration, but Dids can celebrate however he wants if he keeps playing like that.

He just played 4 quarters of footy, and it was only North Melbourne. Give the guy a break, some wins are just par for the course and this was one of them.

Hey, I love him, don't get me wrong. And I'll forgive him, in fact I probably don't even have to, I'm not holding anything against him. It's more just an acknowledgement that there's the possibility of taking games like that for granted.

I've never liked players shirking the song and hated nothing more than the Cats players hamming it up. That also came from a champion team too with some GFs in the bank. Anyway, I love his celebrations on the field etc, but I just wouldn't want that creeping in to the team as the way we celebrate a win.

I'd say he mouthed around.. 4 words? Laughed halfway through (not saying this is necessarily bad btw, just literally listing it), looked up and around. Generally seemed as though he didn't care about the song.

Look, as a supporter sometimes I'm desperate to get out and beat the traffic and won't sit in the stands all night long singing it, nor do I care that much that I'm angry or anything ridiculous lol.

Just don't understand why some players (maybe I understand Dids lol), who only play 22 (if they're lucky a few more) games a year wouldn't relish the opportunity to sing the song. Instead they would say a handful of words and generally not care. Just wish it was different :)

When it comes to the song, my greatest concern is Dane Swan. Has anyone else noticed that he is consistently "pitchy". He's clearly not taking this aspect of his game seriously. Maybe a stint in the reserves is necessary, where he can work on this without the added pressure of a live telecast.

I don't think they're warming up their voices correctly before the song, it's not very professional behaviour and needs to be looked at by the coaching staff.

A few Meh-Mee-Mi-Moh's can go a long way, not to mention a bit of a gargle before ripping into it. If we want to be up with the elite clubs of the competition, we cannot afford to leave stones unturned. :thumbsd:

Club better cut back on Arizona next year and invest in an Autotune machine dealy.

Otherwise I'm going berko at the AGM.

But if we go to those lengths, surely a full orchestra in the rooms post game is required too.

Add a conductor (Ed) and you have a proper "singing" session.:thumbsu::p

Word from inside recruiting circles is that we're looking at Justin Bieber now for an international rookie spot.

It would almost, almost be worth the embarrasment for the hilarity of seeing that girly-boy get his head taken off playing a physical sport.

LMAO oh dear... first david king on radio giving us shit for 'act of unprofessionalism' cos a player was making noises in the backround after talking do d.swan and now this?

what has this world come too.

lol, I think it was Dids messing about in the interview as well. Must've been in a 'special' mood after the win.

The bloke did get hit in the head too :p

So you dont hate him. You like him. but your having a go at him for not getting carried away for not singing good old Collingwood forever with the same gusto as he would against a good side?

Didak has gone on record and has stated how lucky he is playing for collingwood given his ify record during his time at the club.

Mate you probs love the club and all just get over it his sung the song with gusto after most wins for 8 years now. In the end does it even really matter? we won and i dont think that preformance during the song is going to affect the club and make us lose every match for the season.
