To be honest I was never to excited to sing the club song after the game when I played. IT seemed contrived and forced more out of routine than anything else.

I didn't see the incident, but as long as he is playing great football than it really doesn't matter.

What?! I loved singing the song during my junior footy days. It's a great tradition!

I think the main concern was the 'hoo hoo hoo's' at the end of '...they know how to play the game' There was maybe only 15 players singing it. Because that isn't a recognised part of the song, if it's not replicated younger players going through the club may not become privy to them.

Also the 'God Blimy' was a little off. Although I think everyone said it, it wasn't at the decibel level that I would think you'd like to hear. I think it's about time that they officially make it into the lyrics before they are gone forever.

It's just a rumour, but I've heard that Dids is carrying some seriously enlarged polyps - same thing that ended Julie Andrews' career. But the problem goes further. Intonation's been off right across the choir, and our tenors just aren't making those resonating chambers vibrate enough.

And if Dids was performing in the background, wasn't he a back-up dancer with Harry in the B&W Show this week? He's adding value.

And he is playing good footy.

Great win tonight. Only disappointment was the way Dids carried on during the singing of the song.

I don't think these players realise how lucky they are to play for a club like Collingwood, and how it can all be taken away because of injury etc. I dunno whether he's taking wins for granted or not, but for me, to not even care about it - it's not good enough.

And people might say they're tired, whatever. Could be a range of excuses, but it's 30 seconds of your life after a game and it's being televised to every other Pie supporter.

Show a bit of passion.

The song is actually pre recorded by some stand in talent, it has to be otherwise it would force people to turn of their telies if the players true vioces were used. The players only mime the song at the end of each win. Didak doesn't sing the whole song because just like most of us and the national anthem, he's never atually learnt the words!

I was in the rooms after the game, didn't really notice anything different about the song, it seemed like they were singing it with pretty similar enthusiasm when compared to the last couple of weeks.
