i know they have been kicking around for years.but with 'beyond' its the first album that i have got from the band. rock album of the year,what a treat it is!

fans.. recomend me older songs to try..

I don't have any Dinosaur jr albums but I know the songs 'Get Me' and 'I feel the pain' are very good....

great album from 88, has the song Freak Scene, song is worth the price of the CD alone.

'Where you been' is a belter of an album.'Without a Sound' not far behind.

'Start choppin' one of my favourite songs of all time.

The Best of album called "Ear Bleeding Country" would cover most bases, but as Evo said "where You Been?" is a good album...albeit a little long winded when not in the mood. The man (J Mascis) does loveth his own guitar solos! Ear Bleeding Country also has their version of the Cure's "Just Like Heaven" on it

Also worthwhile giving Lou Barlow's other project "Sebadoh" a listen... and if you can track it down the Sonic Youth Video called "1991 the Year Punk Broke" has some good live footage of Dinosaur Jr performing Freak Scene and The Wagon on their UK tour with Sonic Youth and Nirvana around the time Nevermind was released.
